Always press the master link plate out towards the clip after installing the clip. Just an additional step to help prevent the clip from popping off.

I was cutting my chain like that until I found a tool that goes on my drill and makes it easy I found it at harbor freight for 25 bucks

1. Master link clips are temporary. Don’t use them for long term. Rivet your master links. Please. 2. Buy yourself a chain tool that can break any link. The whole grinding down process is unnecessary, inconvenient and a waste of time. Swapping your chain should be a 20-30 minute process. Depending on your bike. And learning how to do it without a grinder/dremel,etc. will save you time, and money.

Even if you have a premium chain break tool, grinding down will preserve your tool for more uses, as most will eventually break. Grinding down the pins should be a quick and simple procedure if you have the tools.

Por estética el seguro se debe colocar en la parte interna de la cadena

You see they are these really amazing inventions called master links that hold the chain in place and can be popped off with a screwdriver and a hammer which takes the chain off
