That was an entirely excellent job. Good clean work too. My neighbor put a septic system in about 10 years ago... he bought an old backhoe and started digging. The lot where the laterals laid was sloped 3ft... he just followed the slope. About a year later he had grey water coming out of the ground at the end of each line... they formed a fetid mosquito swamp. Fortunately, it turned off cold and the mosquito problem went away. As to the swamp... not so much. The fall and winter rains just made it worse. It grew until it seeped into his pasture. The cattle trail took it to the draw. The draw took it to the roadside ditch. The culvert under the road took it into the neighbors pasture. Across the pasture was the pond where the neighborhood kids swam and fished. By the time he got around to having it replaced by a pro... he had paid for two lateral systems, reseeding his and his neighbors pastures and restocking a pond. You know Boss, sometimes it pays to ask a pro! I’ll exercise my elbow by drinking a couple of extra Rum and Cokes for you this weekend... let me know if that helps!

@sassafrasvalley1939 3 жыл бұрын
@@wilsonbobcatservice4151 LOL... only 5 people but he lived on a hill and once he saturated the soil the water soaked back in the ground but the effluent particulate didn’t. I told him that instead of making a leach field he had made an efficient wastewater transfer system. The whole idea of the gentle slope is so that the entire pipe has water in it and the water can leak out all the holes. He was only using a couple of feet at the end of the pipe to disperse the water. Engineers argue about how steep the slope ought to be but in order for it to work... the entire slope can’t be greater than the inside diameter of the pipe.... or you won’t use all of the leach field. And you are correct... I grew up in a farmhouse where the septic system was two 55gal barrels and 100’ of clay tile buried in the yard. We had to auger roots and replace broken tile every couple of years. And, still we had swamp poo-poo at the end of the line most of the time.

Most city engineering departments around here are less than helpful… and live outside the expectation of competence! Very well shot and explained bud! Clean, safe and on spec from start to finish. @@deplorablelibertarian I dont know about the more money part. The inspector dictates which type of system I install and any little deviation from his plan means replacement at my cost or loss of my license. The profit & loss margin on septic systems is so tight its almost not worth it to do as a business. It's just part of dirt work. There's only so much money that a home owner or contractor will pay and in my area the average is around $4500 which half of that is materials.

Set with laser with fall government wants then tie string line north and south then can drive in others to string and have perfect grade. Take string off and put in pipe then rock. Sorry i'm stupid and from Europe, but why 3 pipes while allready one apart goes to the house? And how did you straight that second and third pipe after you broke that laser thing? Nice job anyway
@DIRT-BOSS

Good question I fixed the laser stick I just took the bent section off the other three sections and it were straight.. one pipe from the house goes to the distribution box and then distributes equally in the system laterals

@@DIRT-BOSS Aha now i understand a little bit how a septic system works in the US, simple and efficient way. I think we don't have a septic system like that in Europe. Thanks for taking the time to answer love the channel

Gary Bulldog: my new generator im planing to perchuse is a kubota too wich gonna cost me $6,800 wich wasnt bad because the generac was $15,000 and the Caterpiller was $36,900 and sommers were $40,000 wich rediculas for a price of a statonary generator and the kubota was way lot cheaper
