I used to deep condition over night all the time! I think it can be okay, as long as your hair/scalp responds to it well! The ONLY reason I stopped was because laying down on conditioner I think made it soak into my scalp more, which always resulted in a little itching the next day/morning. I looked it up and I saw something saying that conditioner isn’t the best for your scalp, and that it’s supposedly for your hair only. So I say it’s fine but maybe just be cautious of it getting on your scalp and sitting there for too long! And trying it out for yourself is the best way to see if it works :)

It could happen for a lot of reasons :) one is having damaged hair, having lots of breakage could lead to unmanageable or unruly hair, another obvious one is neglect, and the reason why neglect occurs could be a lot of different things to, from depression to just laziness. Just depends on the person I think. :)
