I usualy dismount the disc brake first. To avoid any possible contamination of the disc with grease.

@@pizzapie4me I don't make a living from working as a bicycle mechanic, but when I have free time, I try to do these maintenance myself, and it is better to do them calmly, with time and conscientiously.

Я выбросил насыпную втулку, на ней еще был геморройный центрлок , поставил на промподшипники и ротор на болтиках ,, немного тяжелее , мне рекорды скорости нужны

it is sometimes no help, because races are damages and the wheel dos the same indexed thing after :) I just did one wheel like that on my very old bike. i messed it up apparently sometimes more than 20y ago :D

The only thing I do different is put the tip of the axle in on the first side so the bearings don't fall into the hub.

В конце крутится колесо и щелкает. Отличная работа. Хотя может это гайка на престо ослабленная. А зачем было менять смазку. Она ж нормальная. Выглядит как литол.

Way too much grease. That's going to become a grit heaven. Enough to coat the balls and no more. There's no need to grease the cones either. And yes, I've done this including replacing worn out cones on Shimano Ultegra wheels.
