In fairness compared to here in Manchester, my native Ireland has fallen far harder, faster and far more completely by comparison, both during Covid and more gradually in the 21 years that I’ve lived in Manchester and have been going home to visit family there - Ireland is now beginning to resemble North Korea with every passing day and it is truly heartbreaking to witness

As a member of the public, we recognise the uniformed staff employed to operate the service and assist in the relevant processes. The disconnect is when staff members, especially ‘security’, presume authority outside of their responsibilities. Virtually all of them have no more legal authority than any one of us.

Before Covid, I would have totally complied and given all of my details, Co-operated with police, not filmed anywhere in a public place, etc - post-Covid, I’m totally up for robustly challenging this oppression every step of the way and on every level, as the mindset has totally changed, given the truth of what we have discovered during Covid about so many things - this is a total turnaround and the turning point for me here in Manchester was seeing online and from hearing from family back home how An Garda Siochana behaved towards the Irish people during Covid, especially after the truth of the corruption and criminality of the Gardai was revealed and where this was replicated globally

The station goons are an example of what happens when you can’t meet the required standard to join the actual police (and only a grade C in a GCSE required to join the police) so you get a silly job wearing a similar uniform to the police and talk nonsense to give you a sense of power/authority, but unfortunately no one takes you seriously😀.

You should go back to Victoria station Charles Veitch and question showsec and ask them why didn’t they challenge or spoke to the bomber about what he has in his backpack because the arena inquiry has criticised the Arena security for not stopping the bomber or speaking to him either one security guard tried to report the suspicious person but he couldn’t get through to the control room so the security guard gave up trying on his radio and didn’t take further steps he went back to where he supposed to be as the Manchester arena concert was coming to a finish ❤❤❤❤🐝🐝🐝🐝

You should go back to Victoria station and speak to showsec security guards because they were criticised on the arena inquiry for not stopping the arena bomber and not for not speaking to him or questioning him about his backpack what he got inside it but security guards didn’t do that at all they let the families down even the police did too ❤❤❤❤🐝🐝🐝🐝

Our parliament building here in Canada is being renovated, so they've moved the interim House of Commons to a courtyard in a building next door and built a glass roof over it. The Manchester Victoria concourse-thing reminds me of it. Outdoor building facades that are now indoors. It looks pleasant, just a bit uncanny.
