@@alfarouqelboom8465 thanks for asking! Was aiming 260 but got a 245. I'm a US IMG. Took Step 1 years ago and prepared for 2ck in 4,5 months. Although I was aiming higher I knew that I needed 1 month for 2nd Uworld pass to get closer to the target. Nontheless, I decided not to change test date and my score was exactly in between NBMEs and UWSAs. So the exams were very predictive. The “perfect” amount of coffee is highly dependent on how much caffeine you regularly have. If you normally drink 3 cups of coffee each morning and you choose to drink a half cup on test dat then you will be tired and yawning.

For any regular exam, like a 3 hour exam. Drink the coffee an hour before. This optimizes the duration of the caffeine. It will kick in and serve you right in time. I know I can drink a full cup without getting exam anxious. So I drink a full one. Since caffeine blocks a specific molecule from binding in the brain. A molecule that multiplies in number during the day. It doesn't hurt to start early with caffeine and space it out from start morning till into the exam.
