heyyy nice tutorial! great idea to keep the designer's name up for the entire length of the tutorial too; hope some other tutorial makers catch on this too, but I don't have great hopes of that props to booty for making a stupid simple mob switch; I was literally like _"how the hell didn't I think of that"_ with the wool and trapdoor lure to get them from each lure to the next

Hey I had a question. I reached the location I calculated on the nether roof but it is only 1 block away from a chunk border. Do I need to pick a different shrieker or can I get away with going a block or two away and still connecting the portals? I only need to go one block to the left

You can just move a block away and it should be fine. Also just for caution, check if the portals linked correctly before making the rest of the mob switch.

hey I want to ask, will the wardens ever despawn? do you have to go to the mobswitch via a portal or can you just go to the mobswitch on the roof from your base? sorry if my sentencing is a bit confusing but I hope you understand thank you

The wardens won't despawn unless you break the noteblock or the observer clock above their head. And you can go to the mobswitch anyway you like. Just don't go too close to the wardens or they might attack you using the sonic boom.

I have a question: can you also build the nether side of the portal very low down instead of on the roof? I want to build this, but I have a personal rule of not going to the nether roof (to make farming nether resources a bit more challenging for myself)

You can build it at any Y axis. But make sure that there are no mobs around when loading the wardens, otherwise they may get distracted by the sound of other mobs.

For some reason the minecart for chunk loader keeps getting stack in the trapdoor that use for the warden to fall down

FOR PAPER SERVERS - In the paper.world-defaults there is a setting called "per-player-mob-spawns" this must be set to false for the switch to work.

Are you sure you properly made it on the border? Are they taking damage all the time or only when you load the chunks? After you load them for the first time, they'll take a bit of damage and then they shouldn't take any. If you join discord, it'll be easier for me to help.

You don't kill wardens. To turn off the mobswitch, just turn off the chunk loader. If you still need to kill the wardens then break the noteblock and they'll despawn after few minutes.
