ok i understand that but if both of them died who would tell emperor about who he is and story around it ? if she didnt tell emperor about this and died wouldnt everyone in her family + servants die for treason/rebelion because they attacked guards when they helped him ? and dont get me wrong i would be totally ok if she break up with him because he dragged her into this or choose revenge ove her etc ....but that cliff they was ready to shower them with arrows and if both of them died there i think her family dies too right ?

​@@youtubeisdead8153 the problem is not that he jumped there, the problem is that he never told her squat, sometimes just lied or gaslighted her, he promised her the moon, demanded her love and that she change her whole life to revolve around him, and then he decided to throw his life away without half a truth two days before the wedding. He had decided to die that night. And he's a hell of a lucky sob that she figured everything on his own. But, beside all this, to answer your question "if both of them died who'd tell the emperor". Excuse me, are you implying that it was her responsibility to clear his effing name after he went out without a care like that? Or that he actually expected her to do it? Because I think it was pretty jerk-y to lead her on like that and then go off to die without a half note. But if he actually thought she knew and still didn't say sh*t any of the times she asked him if he had anything to tell her, that would make him a galaxy level above of coward ass,

I think her decision to live with the queen comes down to two points: 1) the queen is one of the few people who have shown her genuine care, and the queen has consistently defended her, even against her own children, and she has never abandoned her. Therefore, now that the queen is in a place where she needs love and support, Shaoshang will provide it. And 2) I think that she, in a way, wants to hide away. Her heart is broken and she just wants to bury her head in the sand until it feels better, and where better to do that than with the queen, who needs her (therefore giving her something to focus on) and would never do anything to hurt/bother her. Even if someone withing Qangqiu palace brought up Ling Buyi, the she knows that if the queen saw that she was bothered by it, she would end it. In the queen's palace, nothing can hurt her, not her parents' neglect, not LBY's abandonment, nothing. All she has to think about is the queen.

@@serenityis12 I agree. This is what I was thinking too. After Zisheng, she would never want to marry another man. She is heartbroken to the core and needs somewhere to heal as best she can. That can only happen if she's in a place where she feels completely safe, without recriminations, mocking, & hostility from anyone. Only the queen can give her that trust, security, and love now, and only the quietude of the cold palace can provide the atmosphere she needs.

Yeah, agreed! I think Fresh Drama removed the original soundtrack because of copyright issues & added their own music. The end result is rather horrendous.

Due to copyright issues they can't use the original music that was in the drama. Fresh Drama had to edit the original music out. I've watched the drama in it's originality on another platform that's why.

She gave up everything to take care of the Empress....by this time the Empress asked to be deposed...so she was living in exile in the palace. When word arrived that she was dying Buyi returned to pay his respects to her. The Empress's dying wish was to see Niao Niao married...so stalker Yuan offered to marry her to appease the Empress. Niao Niao asked to leave the palace so that she can get engaged to stalker Yuan. The Empress agreed to her request...she ran into Buyi when she was returning to the palace. They said a few words...and she left. Stalker Yuan warned him to stay away from his fiancee. Buyi then bowed and left...it was later revealed that Niao Niao's engagement to stalker Yuan was fake...she only pretended to get engaged to stalker Yuan...to satisfy the Empress's dying wish....the Empress told Buyi that if he wanted a future with Niao Niao that he needed to heal the pain that was in her heart. The Empress's former maid returned after killing her husband to be with Buyi...and lied and told everyone in the capitol that she was going to marry him. She even tried to rub it in Niao Niao's face that she took care of Buyi while he was in the North...she even fabricated their so-called love story...but before she could continue her lies...a message was sent to her...telling her to return home because Buyi left a dowry with her father and requested that he find a good husband for her....she tucked her tail between her legs and left in embarrassment....She went to find Buyi..to beg him for a chance. He refused/told her that he knew she killed her husband. He told her to leave him alone. She wanted to know if Niao Niao was the reason he was refusing to accept her. He told her that even if Niao Niao wasn't in the picture he still wouldn't accept her. In a delusional mind...she thought if she killed Niao Niao that she would live in his heart forever. He found out that Niao Niao left the palace with crazy...he rushed to rescue her. During this time he grabs the knife from Yitong...and eventually saves Niao Niao's life. After the Empress dies Niao Niao tells Buyi how much his actions hurt her...and it took her a long time to let go of the past....but that she could never give her heart to him again. He told her that he's been living with regret for the last 5 yrs...and he will spend the rest of his life living with regret....they eventually say their goodbyes. Niao Niao receives an invitation from Luo Yao's crazy cousin to have dinner with them...at first Niao Niao refuses but the crazy girl won't take "no" for an answer so Niao Niao agrees. She then realizes that something is off...when they serve her buttermilk...she realizes something is wrong. She finds out later that her buttermilk was poisoned. Luo Yao's wife goes into labor. They both take her to a temple...Niao Niao suspects there's a secret passageway....when the crazy cousin tries to kill her Niao Niao tells Luo Yao's wife to try to find the lever so they can escape. Eventually she finds the lever/they escape. The crazy cousin tries to follow them but is stopped by Luo Ben's widow...they all thought she had died....she kills the crazy cousin because she blames the first branch for her husband's death...it's revealed that she killed the crazy cousin's parents too...Tutor Luo/his wife were killed by her...but it appears that she lied to the crazy cousin...and blamed it all on Niao Niao...which made her a target of the crazy cousin...Luo Ben's wife lures Buyi into the same trap where Niao Nioa, Lady Yao and stalker Yuan are....Buyi figures out that Niao Niao is in trouble and decides to jump into the trap. They have a moment before the crazy widow decides to appear.....she blames them for the death of her husband...they tell her that her husband was responsible for his own actions. She believes that he was the only innocent person...the girl is cray cray...lol She decides to set the entire building on fire with them inside. Buyi tells her that her husband isn't worth dying for because he chose to leave her behind. She reminds him of his own actions and how he walked away from Niao Niao...he tells her that he regretted his decision the moment her saw her after he killed Ling Yi...he also tells her that he should've married Niao Niao/they should did things together...and that he should walked the straight and narrow way with her. It was the total opposite of what he told the Empress... he told her that he doesn't regret his actions...and that he would never regret abandoning her. The Empress wanted to help Niao Niao learn the truth....it wasn't pretty but it was right in front of her. After his confession Niao Niao finally sees his sincerity. Crazy lady Luo sets the entire place on fire. Buyi's men find him in time/tries to rescue them. Buyi is the last one to escape but before he can climb the ladder the crazy lady restrains his legs/he can't move. He tells Qi to take Niao Niao and leave. She refuses to leave but Qi drags her away...shortly after they escape the place where they were being held explodes. Niao Niao, Qi and Afei are devastated because they think that Buyi died in the explosion. While Niao Niao is crying and telling him that he promised not to abandon her again...and that he would make up for what he did in the past...and that she forgives him....he walks through the door. She turns around/goes to him. They hug...and he asks her if this means she forgives him....she squeezes his shoulder...and they hug again...he tells her not to deny it later on. Stalker Yuan reminds them that the crown prince is in danger. They split up/Niao Niao goes to guard a village...while Buyi goes to save the crown prince. Eventually after everything is settled they're reunited...and agree to get married right away. The Emperor receives news that they're going to get married without him....lol The Cheng family welcomes him into the family again....after her father warns him about hurting Niao Niao again. They have a family moment...staring at the stars. I hope that helps...sorry if it's too long.

He went and destroyed the man who killed his real Father and hid what he intended to do from her. He would not trust her. And thus hurt her heart.

I know you want to see them together. But their unfinished problems will only make worse by being together. She is just done with these dramas. She is tired. She found herself to be on the same situation she used to be in the beginning. No one could blame her for wanting to break the marriage because everyone including the Emperor knew that she has lost the trust. No matter how much they love each other they won't be able to live together in this situation. She wanted a long break and he has to take his time.

he also told her who he really was. The Queen was wrong in this instance. He also thought he was going to die and he didn't want her to die too.

I feel that she's disappointed in him but, she said they were the same. It's hard to let go of seeing your uncle kill your father and can't do anything about it. He also told her he did it before the wedding to protect her and her family.

@@vshaver11 she’s not mad that he tried to protect her and her family. She’s not even mad he did this. It’s the fact that he always to her that they should face all troubles together as a couple. He said that her problems are his and his problems are hers. She learned to give him all her trust and did work with him to solve problems together. She asked him 3 different times if he was hiding anything from her, and he never told her anything. She had to guess it all by herself 2 days before their wedding. He said it himself he choose to abandon her, something Shaosheng hated her parents for doing. The queen was asking him in Shaosheng’s place because he may not tell Shaosheng the truth just so that she can forgive him and stay with him.

Let me reveal you a secret: her love life is in fact all about her. She saved him, she defended him, she cleared his name. The rest is her decision, and he can go bite his ass up north all he wants. And you can go with him, just like Luo Jitong.
