Thankyou. For zinc corrosion lemon juice will be multiple times stronger than the soap solution. Soap is basic whereas lemon juice is very acidic. Just do the cleaning as fast as you can and then wipe of the solution and dry it quickly and apply some oil That's what I would suggest

Dimple towards the bottom. That way the lock screws can get into them and clamp your strings in nice and tight . Also, I usually put a strip of blue painters tape over the entire assembly so they don’t fall out. If the little blocks are dented or scratched up, buy new ones. They won’t hold your strings real well if they are not in good shape. They are cheap anyways. Unless you buy titanium inserts. But they’ll last forever. Also, when changing strings, I snug all my strings into the bridge while it’s in my hand . You can really get them nice and snug and your guitar will stay in tune really well. You really can’t get the super snug while the bridge is sitting in your guitar. And you won’t have to worry about jacking up your pivot posts, knife edges and scratching the body of your guitar with the hex key 🤘🏻👊🏻

You may use pliers. Or a piece of hard string to pull it. One method is to fix it on the bridge first and then on the tremelo plate.

Hello, You should take all the parts apart by unscrewing everything. Then soak them in diluted vinegar + water for 10+ hours overnight. Next day wash them with clean water and brush the rust off. Make sure you wash all the vinegar out. Then dry them after removing rust and apply oil for protection. Assemble everything being back and it should be fine

Don't remove the paint. Just brush off the rust wherever it appear. And if the paint was intact the bridge wouldn't have rusted in the first place. So my assumption is, the paint has started to chip off, it's better to just brush off whatever comes out

Any mineral oil would do. If not, just about any oil would do the job. :)

Do you mean that the saddle is broken? In that case you can get a separate saddle just for one string from a guitar shop. Otherwise tell me more about the problem.

You may use a mineral oil if there is a lot of gunk and grease. But dishwashing liquid will do a great job. Don't forget to dry it after you have washed it.

They are asking would it damage the floyd rose if they take it out of the guitar with the string still in it

We'll, it won't damage the guitar but it may damage you :) strings have considerable tension in the guitar and if you take apart the bridge with strings on, there is a change you may get hit by a flying string. It's always better to remove strings (or loosen them atleast in some cases) before taking apart your guitar.

Coconut oil works well as a home replacement for lemon oil which is mentioned for this job. However you may use any natural oil you want(not mineral oils)
