Watching the conduct of the West from here in Moscow since the start of the SMO, my Russian friends and I can only gasp in astonishment at just how dangerously deluded the West is as to its own superiority. For clearly it has no idea of the reality of Putin, the Russian economy, or the Russian people. It’s not only that Western leaders are so cynical and heartless, but also that they are now so believing of their own propaganda, so sure of their own supremacy, that for them to wake up and see the error of their ways, recognize the misery they have created, and search their conscience is all but impossible. Their self-delusion, cynicism, and ignorance know no bounds.

At 27 minutes you talk about levels of corruption - I saw this very scenario when working in Pakistan - for years I drove past a patch of desert with nothing but a smart stone built sign identifying the site as a girls school. Nothing else was ever built there. Then quite by accident I came across a World Bank article confirming the completion of the school using their funds, it was complete with a photograph of this very sign - but somebody had photoshopped a very smart modern school in the background. I checked the following day - nope - it was still just a sign in the middle of nowhere. I was told these 'political buildings' were common.
