For those wondering about the incident in the end, race control said Misha had the right to the line and did nothing wrong. Similarly from the car that hit MIsha it looked like he was going to take the corner wide to let him pass. The verdict was racing incident but that the lack of rear view mirror (which would have effected Misha's ability to see the traffic) was partly to blame for the incident so no further action taken.
@CrazySaVaunT
@CrazySaVaunT 8 ай бұрын
Yeah thats a tought break for both of them. though i would think that in a corner situation like that if Misha was giving him room to pass, he would have used his turn signal but he didnt. It seemed like the other car darted over right at the last second when Misha already has picked the line through the corner as was Just turning in. Racing Incident indeed but I would still say the other car was more at fault. Usually its up to the person passing to pass safely. This is coming from someone who doesn't race in real life like that so these are just my opinions :)

an incredible driving trio, jimmy consitent, never dying lap times no matter what, steve smooth driving, smooth passing, misha thousands of hours, the skill to drive at high speeds in near 0 visability. Overall an incredible group of drivers they never backed down to a challenge, they stayed optimistic after crashing in qualifying, jimmy rocketed and then instead of doubting after getting collected he peddled on and made up 6-7 minutes, then steve did a double stint and an incredible run making passes and keeping the car in position, misha despite all the issues and the near 0 visability, stepped up with his experience and did all he could. nobody gave up until the race was over and then they looked toward the next race.

I noticed that too. I know that the accidents are mainly due to the other cars but i feel as though Misha has a little too much overconfidence in that car. He has done a massive amount of hotlaping and overtaking much slower cars but in a race setting there is so much pressure. If he can learn to anticipate potential problems and give wider births/picking better overtaking spots he would be rapid.

@@jmcculloch86 Having successfully completed the Nurburgring 24 hour race in a Dacia Logan Id suspect Misha has a vague idea when it comes to the pressure of racing on this circuit in particular. Hitting oil isn't something any driver can anticipate and, having lost the mirror, having a car disappear into your blind spot and then punt you isn't something you could necessarily anticipate either. Awesome Movie Jimmer, enjoyed every minute of it even though I already knew the ending because I watched the race live

Least you tried to have a smile on your face Jimmy and that's all that matters, we're on the journey good and bad and we're just happy to tag along for the ride ❤ Big props again to Joey for creating an absolute masterclass of editing 👏 🙌

I put off watching this for several hours negate it was 40 minutes long. When i finally did watch it, i wished it was longer. Very well done.

One of the best videos you’ve ever done Jimmer, fantastic. Also, permission to simp over future Mrs Jimmer at 8:01. Holy smokes Batman

Lots of fun watching these NLS races live. The main live NLS chat was getting a bit antsy over the many, many mentions of Jimmer, where's 503? etc. :) Seeing Jimmy pop out in front of those GT3's and not get involved in a spectaculary massive shunt was enormously entertaining to watch. Really annoyed I missed the recent podium placed race though.

You can have the best driver in the best car, but it's so easy to get caught up in someone else's accident. You and Steve both drove like champions. Hold your head up high, you deserve much praise.

Fair play to Black Falcon for working their magic and props to Bilstein for letting their promotional car get devestated for parts. Well done to all involved in this video -- awesome stuff.
