Hahaha! Hilarious! Loved it. A good stereotype for “Disc Golf Stereotypes, Vol. 2” is the “knows all the discs, guy”. He says things like, “what disc was that?”, “that a first run?”, “I was throwing KC Aviars before Ken Climo was playing disc golf”. 😂 stuff like that.

@bittybumblebee3 жыл бұрын
They might have been playing speed golf, which is more about making a run more fun than executing your best golf performance. Although when I play speed golf I usually have pretty good drives - it's the putts that suffer from the rushing.

What about guy who wants to talk about his throw and not your throw Guy who starts conversations ALWAYS in your backswing Guy who always is looking for his disc 300 ft farther than where it is Guy who just bought new gear / discs from a new company every time he has a bad tournament
@iTheGM3 жыл бұрын
Couple others you get all the time: Blame the disc guy (no bad throw has ever been his own fault) Let Me See You Flex (Guy who only throws huge flex forehands with crazy overstable discs.) All show, no dough (big drives but misses 10ft putts) Wilderness Survivalist (brings way too much stuff) Walking Pro Shop (guy who brings tons of discs with more in the trunk and keeps trying to sell you a new driver) Up and Over Guy (does everything possible to never actually have to just hit the gap) Mr Local Route (constantly throws lines that just aren't there, but it works every time) Chain Bomber (putts so hard from any distance that his come-backers are short drives) Warm-Up Guy (always wants to practice putt for a solid half-hour before he'll let the group start the round) One Course Hero (throws neg 10 at the closest course and 10 over everywhere else) The Old Pro (that silver-haired guy with just a tye-dye fanny pack of discs who throws 450ft bombs and is casual cash money from inside 40ft) Early Bird (the guy finishing up round two when you are starting round 1 at 9am. This one is me. Gotta play before the babies get up.) Bounty Hunter (brings swim trunks and a towel and patrols the water line on every hole looking for lost discs) Closet Course Designer (always talking about how you could make the hole better if you cut down that tree or pushed the basket back or whatever) Cale Leiviska (nicest, quietest guy on the card who is low-key beating you all by 10 strokes while never drawing attention to his own game)
@adooley833 жыл бұрын
All spot on!!
@Salmar803 жыл бұрын
Oh, good stuff. I tend to see some "Always an Excuse" guys. "Slippery/too short/whatever teepad, man", "wind gust took that", "shoe just slipped", "that tree has grown". "if that was basket X, it woulda caught that"...
@codygarner73373 жыл бұрын
Lol, agree with the stereotypes as funny.. except the PDGA rules guy. Don't be afraid to call someone on a legit fault or violation. They'll probably get aggravated, but if you don't call them on it, they're likely to continue bad habits for the remainder of the round..possibly gaining strokes, in a not legit way. Given, if you're out having fun with your buds not in a tournament setting, let them know afterwards of the fault. Maybe they really didn't know that rule you're educating them about, but now they do so they don't get called out on one of their next tournaments.
