My first rc car 1974 from radio shack was $35...used 4-6 double a batts..30 ft rangeturned right left and went straight..car top speed was 3 mph..and i loved it😅

Stoked! These are based of the Drift package nanos way back in the day. Those were so rare they were selling for upwards of 100 bucks. They didn't even have proportion controls. 25 bucks is a major deal!

I am making a track using those interlocking rubber matts from harborfrieght and poly rope for guard rails..glow in the dark green!..cost only $20. For 8 sections of matt...may glue or use 2 sided tape to hold rope on matt..😊

No it stayed the same, but made it a lot faster due to the grip. A bigger surface definitely makes a difference. Off cam, I went into my deck and it was perfect

Who knew that one day we would see micro rc cars with proportional throttle and steering. I was thinking about this years before and i was saying no... to many parts to make them so tiny to make a proportional rc car so small. But a while now it's reality. I didn't knew about this model first i saw it here.

Sorry for silly question but how did you get the hard drift tires off the wheels? After watching this I picked up the Porsche. I can only get the hard drift tires pulled out less than an 1/8" before they stop and won't slide the rest of the way off the wheel. Thanks for any help.

Yeah they get stuck, you gotta sort of wiggle them off. I got my finger nail under and had to work it slowly but surely. Careful not to use anything metal, it could deform the tire.

@@disciplinerc Thank you, that was the tip I needed. I didn't realize the drift tires were thinner on the back side. I was pushing them part way off and then pushing against the ridge on the wheel. DOH! Thanks for posting this, what a great product. I'll post video of one running on a routed slot car track soon. It works great and no track power is required.

Which one drifts better with good control out of the box? This or the 1/18 LDRC?

I'd say the LDRC 1/18. They have more mass and can be modified easier 👍 But these are a blast for the price
