I am fascinated by the weaving and printing of the kente! So beautiful! I like the symbols of “except for God,” “hope,” and forgiveness!

It’s really beautiful bigsis, I wish our people were open to sharing how our “Ndop” fabric is made, it’s also a beautiful process. Hmm the last time I tried getting a story of the making, the guy asked me to pay him 500000frs 😅😅😅 I don’t want to cry. May God help us.

There are so many adinkra symbols and their meaning. Even if you want to insult someone, you put on a kente cloth with insulating adinkra symbols. So not all clothes are fit for every occasion

You’re right, in Cameroon we eat a lot of other things with our hands too but for street foods it’s usually just solid foods. At a sit down place like where you ate, and with something like that beans, they usually give you a spoon if I remember correctly.
@VictorineBihTakwe
@VictorineBihTakwe 10 ай бұрын
Yes beans is eaten with a spoon not a hand.unless it’s fufu or Achu or fish,in Cameroon we use spoons

The symbols are from the AKANS which Ashantis are part. Akans are made of a lot groups - Akuapem, Asante (Ashanti), Akyem, Fante, Nzema, Akwamu, Denkyira and etc. But most often people relate things of Akans to only Ashanti. Thanks 🙏

THE ADINKRAH SYMBOLS WERE THE FIRST LANGUAGE ON EARTH THE AKAN CREATOR CALLOED ODOMANKOMAN ONYANKOPON KWAME OHATA HWIAM GAVE TO THE AKANS. THE CREATOR OF MANKIND AND THE UNIVERSE IS AKAN GOD. IN ASHANTI REGION THERE IS A PLACE CALLED ASANTEMANSO NEAR BEKWAI WHERE ALL THE CLANS CAME OUT OF THE GROUND TO INHERIT THE LAND. THIS IS WHY OUR COUNTRY IS THE CENTRE OF THE WORLD. WE BIRTH EVERYBODY. A BIT OF HISTORY
