Your video was very funny and I really enjoyed it. My grandfather was from Bari and the family still lives there. He left there i think in the 1900's along with his 2 brothers and a sister. So if there are ever any Praino's that watch this video, I would love to here from you. I am on facebook.

I wanted to add if I may. I like the jazz musica of Nicola Conte, who is from there in Bari Italy. He has his record label company there too. So in my view ? That shows that Bari isn't all that bad after all. Grazie and Buona notte

L' Italia l' amo tanto, ma per i suoi regioni di sud ho una simpatia speciale, non dimenticare di "Magna Grecia" e i rapporti che esistono fin' oggi fra questa parte d' Italia e il mio Paese, la Grecia! E per quanto riguarda Bari, Prindizi nonche tutta la parte sud est d' Italia che sono vicinisimi al mio Paese dove la gente sembra cosi simile a suoi vicini nell' altra parte di mare Ionio, allora per questa parte d' Italia, sono veramente apassionato. Sono stato anni fa a Bari, a parer mio si tratta di una citta meravigliosa, piu bella di quanto io - e sucuramente molta gente - avessi mai imaginato! Saluti di cuore d' Atene!

Hi there, your vlog has some very good local info (1€ Peroni hehe) Do you think 12 days is too long to stay in Bari without having a car? What could you honestly say about crime against tourists in Bari? Is Liberta neighberhood a nono for tourist accommodation and walking about? (along with San Paolo, Fesca, Japigia) Thank you so much

Buongiorno Giovanni, I am greatful for you showing this Italian community. It gave me a better idea of whats there. My great grandfather came to the U.S. at the turn of the 20th. century with his old ice block business . I do have a question actuallt 2. First of all what is the most common evening diners that people like to Manga ?? and is their mafia in Bari as in other parts of Italy ??? hey i'm trying to decide if it's a good idea to go as an Aupair in Bari for an Italian family. Thanks for the video! I like it because i'm looking for an authentic Italian city that's not full of tourists, such as Venice. Do you think Bari is a good destination for this? or what other places would you recommend. I'm a young person who's also looking for a nice beach nearby, good nightlife, but not so crowded like Milan, more like Bari style... Grazie tanti!!!

First question, where are you from? If you want do Aupair girl in bari you will get very deep in the italian culture because in bari there are not people from American or english speakers like in Rome or Milan, so you will lean a lot... Bari yes is a good city for have fun mostly in the summer time in the winter time is a little bit bored, for the beach yes there is a great place, i raccomend also yo check out Polignano too, it is very close to Bari and so nice as well..

I'm from Argentina. I'm studying Italian now so t's perfect for me. Thanks for the feedback! And Polignano seems so beautiful form what i googled. My only worry is the Bari dialect- as you mentioned on the video- will i be able to practice italian with the local people? As a second option, outside of Puglia, what other city do you recommend? -that has the same authentic style. By the way your video was very funny hehe. You should make more , so i learn hehe. thanks!

you don't have to worry that much about the dialect, while it's true that is like an extra language other than italian, keep in mind that every city has its own dialect, that could be slightly or completely different based on the city, just focus on the regular italian, you'll be alright. Hope it helps Born and raised in Bari, my dad is from Polignano, Miss them a lot!

I'm Italian, from Bari. I do appreciate your effort with the English language but the result is quite sad. I think your images are quite far from realistic, our city deserve a better cameraman able to present it in an honest perspective.
