This looks an amazing place with alot of stunning sceneries. Travelling here in autumn adds an extra topping of colours, to what is already an amazing plate of views from heavens. And lastly the symphony of peace both the village and villagers have brokered looks vividly soothing.

one of the best videos, already a small documentary, about Hallstatt and surroundings I have seen. Great job, greetings from Austria ❤ 4:43 Insider tip, they were not allowed to film it but the bone house "Hallstatt Beinhaus" is a highlight at every Hallstadt visit. Please enter with respect. In the past, people in Hallstatt started to take the bones and skulls out of the grave after a few years, bleach them and then sizing them up, the skulls were inscribed and artfully decorated. An impressive experience that you will not forget in you life

In Austria we have a saying: "schleich di aus Österreich du deppata wappler", which roughly translates to "let the beauty of Austria remind you of the beauty in your heart"

Great video, however you said 16th century houses on Marktplatz when they are actually 18th century as they were rebuilt after the fire of 1750. Also worth pointing out that Ramsau am Dachstein is quite far from Hallstatt and on the other side of the mountain range where as the Krippenstein area is actually close to Hallstatt
