I know I'm not the only one that feels this way, as I've seen others say it- Papa Roach spoke to the rage, the angst, the anger of our teenage years. Ronnie/FIR speaks to the pain and devastation and desperation that some of feel as adults.

This song was an amazing reimagining! The video was a direct continuation to Watch the World Burn… My interpretation is that Ronnie was the only person left after lighting the world on fire, and the grey city was the wasteland in the aftermath! This song and the lyrics were about reflecting on what he had done and how he handled everything… he wasn’t/isn’t alright, and he put the world back together after realizing he was wrong… his last resort was to set the world on fire, and he regretted it, so he put it back… that is why the final imagery was the exact opposite of WTWB… and some have said that the world was “Falling in Reverse” when it was being put back together. So good!!

I feel like the dystopian world is his life and mind, and it crumbles from too much darkness weighing on him. Him singing the truth and screaming his pain , you blow up letting it out venting, destroying what once was.. after you vent and let it out, you feel better, so the world heals, you get back to a so called normal place in life. That's what I think anyway, at least what i feel in my life and experience with it. Thank you for your reaction! I love Ronnie and FIR 😊❤

Very good cover of Papa Roach. Ronnie's rendition of Last Resort let's you contemplate and absorb the lyrics. Papa Roach's feels like you can sing along with the lyrics and get similar (if not the same) emotions and thoughts out of your system.

You can't tell someone who has depression that just bc they are breathing they are fine.... We know we are fine and that is the scary part of it... We know we have no reason to keep feeling this way and the feeling gets so overwhelming that we just want it to stop.... Any way... though I don't contemplate it much ever.... but my depression has been so bad that even breathing is exhausting and overwhelming.... So pls don't tell someone with this mental state that they are just fine... We don't feel fine! And we have been saying this for a while wishing people would listen or just be more understanding...

I don’t wanna be a critic or a negative Nancy as someone who goes threw mental health since I was 9 it is very hard if not the hardest thing to ever deal with without professional help. Biplore is not a joke one of the most intense thing to deal with I had many moments throwing in the towel hospitalizations. Points my sanity was slipping into psychosis of how bad the pain was. It’s not easy to just tell someone it’s fine and move on. It takes a lot of therapy and a medication process a great support system. It’s hard to see anything but pain because that’s what our mind leads us to believe. My prayers go out to everyone suffering in silence godbless and keep fighting it’s worth it. 8:48 - This is like the bookend to Watch The World Burn, whether or not it was intended as that originally. And in that perspective it creates an astoundingly powerful narrative - a mounting discontent at the abuse received pushes a man who was a hero over the edge to becoming a villain who in his rage slaughters the judgemental and innocent alike before setting fire to the world. In this, he walks alone down deserted and dusty streets and faces his grief and trauma. As he finds his voice and admits aloud his pain, the walls within and without begin to crumble but as he finally screams his truth it changes. It's the moment when the storm breaks and the world crumbles and you realize... you're still here, and turning your face to the heavens you let your triumphant tears stream unheeded with fists clenched tight letting the rain wash you clean because... "God is in the rain." - Evey Hammond, V for Vendetta

Okay WTF Ronnie! First he does this with his own songs, now he's covering other bands songs and doing the same thing? What can Ronnie NOT do someone please tell me, what can Ronnie Radke NOT make sound beyond words incredible? OMG! I LOVE this song and this makes me LOVE Ronnie and Falling in Reverse even MORE! Anyway this song HIT/SMACKED me HARD, the lyrics are so hauntingly beautiful and relatable I've been really struggling with depression for the last few weeks now. The last couple of days have been the worst, I've NEVER thought about taking my own life or cut myself and I NEVER would. BUT this song is depression/anxiety in a nutshell, the raw emotion in Ronnie's voice is insane. You can feel it in your soul literally OMG! I'd LOVE to see Falling in Reverse live, I'd lose my voice screaming the lyrics to all the songs they played. Popular Monster would make me have zero voice cause I'd scream the lyrics to that song so loud, I'd bawl my eyes out too, and if they played this song I'd cry harder.

We all know how analytical you are and I'm always interested in you talking about the things you see and the appreciation you have for all the technical aspects that go into what FIR does. But it wouldn't hit the same if we weren't seeing the sheer joy on your face as you experience it. With some reactors it's like watching them just beebop along to some music in their car. Occasionally throughout they'll say things like, "Wow" or, "Oh, that was neat" and we're left wondering, "Ok.....but did you notice anything poignant or did anything in the song/video give you something to THINK about?" And with some it's like they're so caught up in the technical stuff (with FIR it's LOTS of talk about green screen, budget, how they did a shot, etc.) and we're left wondering, "Ok.....but how did it make you FEEL?" You're one of the best at combining both of those worlds.

It's as you said: A completely different song that is based on the Papa Roach song. I don't want to call it a cover; that word implies different things to me. I also don't want to compare it to Papa Roach's "Last Resort". For me, it feels like comparing apples to oranges, or since this is a song we are talking about, two songs of completely different genres of music. This is a rock opera, Papa Roach did it as a rock/metal/nu metal song. Personally, I prefer Papa Roach's song by a small margin, but I also a) grew up on it, so I have formative memories with it and b) prefer that style of music slightly more than I like Rock Opera. I'd probably give this an 8/10 and the other one an 8.5/10. Compare this to Disturbed's cover of The Sound of Silence and you can kind of see what I mean when I say this isn't really a cover. It truly is a reimagining of the song, with the melody and lyrics taken and twisted into something that resembles the original but is also completely new and unique. Neither technique (covering or reimagining) is better or worse than the other, just to be clear.

Delivery of any speech or message is very important to get the point across. When you listen to the original, suicidal thoughts and mental health is the last think that comes to your mind. But Ronnie brings the message of this song to light. I can't remember the last time I heard this song.. it was everywhere back when I was young.. In a time long forgotten.. This is sweet. I heard this song so many times when I was young. But hearing it now much older, in this way. It really makes it clear what it was about. Also thinking about, this song was played everywhere, tv, radio and so on. All we get on radio today is garbage 5 notes songs all made the same way about some weird topic. I miss mainstream music being something that mattered.

As many reactions of yours that Ive seen, I think this is the most emotional and pleased expression ever!! It was great to see that from you.. Im glad you enjoyed this as much as me.. maybe 'enjoyed' is the wrong word, possibly 'appreciated'? xo

I love this version. I think the 2 most powerful yet subtle visual messages are 1 Ronnie standing on the edge of a building and 2 him playing the piano in the center of the crossroads. You are right this is a different song but the same song.

If I had to guess based on the song, the statues depending on which chart your looking at possibly represent the stages of grief.

Sometimes life is serendipitous and I've always wanted to use that word. I am not in the risk of the s word but had one of those self-affirming positive nights trying to pick myself up tonight after work. And then my man MrLboyd comes in with the affirmation... oh wait I meant to comment great reaction to an awesome song.

Ronnie destroyed the world in watch the world burn taking away all religions, hate, bad things etc, This song starts at the aftermath of that and then Ronnie rebuilds the world like a blank canvas from scratch, no religions, no negativity basically everything that is wrong in the world today. It's now a clean slate and we start again with the hope that the world is a better place. Great react as usual man!

Honestly, Ronnie could do a whole album of reimagining and I’d be there for it! Please do a reaction to Ronnie having Jacoby listen to it for the first time, Ronnie was nervous and Jacoby was vibing to it and loving it! It’s worth the reaction! Look forward to see that reaction to🤟🎶🥰
