as a chan stan, i was so happy hearing someone finally compliment him for his voice. as a stay, it always feels like the only thing even his own fandom focuses on is him being the leader, whenever there’s a compliment it’s always ab his leadership and never ab his skills, esp when it comes to vocals!! he’s the reason why i fell in love w skz and i wish his voice was appreciated way more :(

Lonely Street ending was so good because I took it as they found each other. They were all struggling alone throughout the video. I get what you are saying though because it’s an emotional song, but it’s even more emotional because it seems like every step SKZ takes , they get kicked back one. Even during this comeback. The day of comeback everyone got Covid and they were being dragged so bad for possibly charting #1. The hate they receive all the time. It breaks my heart and makes me cheer and support harder.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again Whoever styled the boys for FREEZE needs a raise NOW!! They made all 8 of them look so hot and FOR WHAT?!!!

Love your reactions, and you were absolutely right when you said that when someone isn't into skz and don't have a solid reason for it then it's their problem not skz, also there's another song in the album (without mv tho) named "waiting for us" really showcases chan's vocals (and the whole vocal line tbh) If you're okay with it you can react to the rest of the album "charmer", "waiting for us" and "muddy water", they're as bangers as the ones you've heard already.

Please don't feel bad about getting emotional. It hit me really hard as well and I'm not a crier either! When you're invested in people it's so hard not to feel their pain. It was a great video and I enjoy hearing your take on the lyrics and imagery 😘

I love the whole concept of this album. in MANIAC they introduce the idea of being ODD is not a bad thing, and we all have these freaky monsters inside us, but also a rage and other battles that we push down, and push down because the world around us is also an unsafe place so both us and the world can explode at any minute, as the lyrics say and we just hold our inner weird self inside. then in VENOM, part of this theme is different and the maniac is fully lose and their obsession and lust and self-destruction has fully taken over. They know they can leave at any point, but they are numb. They don't want to escape they even enjoy this high and this toxic thing. but then in LONELY st, it's the full realization that they are crushed. they are not happy. what they have been pushing down in making them sick and they are so lonely constantly trying to pretend they are fine when they are not. and in FREEZE they finally realize they must get out! they can't wait for the ice to melt they must break it. and the metaphor of the water gun, is to represent the thing that is holding them prisoner, can't actually hold any power over them, if they don't let it. it's simulated. it's not real. its' not a threat because they CAN beat it. and they do.. they are getting out now of this inner battle and finally reaching freedom. :) WHAT A CONCEPT

Not sure if you've heard the other 3 songs on the album yet but if not, they're a MUST! Those are my fave 3 of the entire album and I KNOW you'll love the vocals in Waiting For Us

They have so many good songs. You have to see and listen Miroh, Hellevator, Side Effects, Double Knot, Victory Song, The View, One day, TOP, FAM- it's about them, slower songs, but so beautiful like Another Day, Secret Secret, a song for their fans called #Love Stay, Slump- Japanese version in the first take and their entire performance from the Kingdom Legendary War, where they won 🏆 🎉❤. i like how you commented on both IN and Hyunjin. they both really stuck out to me on this comeback. IN especially in maniac and Charmer, and hyunjin in venom and muddy water. (i, as ever, can't pick a bias in this group) i haven't watched almost anyone's reaction to lonely street, and even had trouble watching yours, though i love what you said about that song. it's just such a dark, sad song, it's hard for me to get through. i hope you do react to charmer, muddy water and waiting for us! all so good.

Stray kids are really on the cusp of international stardom they've been bubbling in the background until this comeback. Now they've getting a lot of attention from popular English speaking reactors a lot more people are getting exposed.

I at least interpreted VENOM as a toxic relationship you can’t escape and for example felix handling the controller kinda suggests he’s in control but then the spider they’re being chased by also denies them being completely in control.

all of their songs are produced by 3Racha, you dont even have to wonder if they made the choices of the sounds in Freeze or not, heads up, they did, as always. You should listen to the rest of the album, Muddy Water, Charmer and Waiting for Us, they're all great songs. I'd also recommend you to look into some of their older work too. I've been a stay for less than a year and they're the only group that has me looking up the translation to their music because of how meaningful their lyrics are. My personal favorites from their older stuff are are Astronaut, TOP, Levanter and Another Day. For venom I think that it shows how they were turned into maniacs or the oddinary skz. Some things I noticed was when lee know was walking away but his reflection on the mirror did not match what he was doing. Also if u realize lee know is always the one standing while the other members are laying down/sitting (for example in venom at the table and the end of lonely street.) I think that could mean sth. If you saw freeze in the end, there is sth important relates to the storyline. I won't say it here cause maybe i'll be spoiling it for u but u should definitely watch the ending. For lonely street, i don't think it has anything to do with hyunjin's hiatus but has to do with their fears. Like lee know's fear is heights while hyunjin's is being alone or isolated. It definitely has a lot of impact on me. The acting, the lyrics and the music were very effective. Love ur reaction btw

I don’t know if you’ve watched the MV already, but it is generally believed that the Lonely St. MV is connected to one of their first MVs “Grow Up”. Grow Up is a more positive song that talks about the worries of a kid who doesn’t know if they’ll make it in this world as an adult. It shares a message that “everything will be alright” and that we shouldn’t worry. What makes Lonely St. even sadder is that it kind of squashes that sentiment. They previously thought everything would be alright, but that didn’t end up being the case. In the Grow Up MV, Chan and Lee Know are running down the track path together. In Lonely St., Lee Know is gone and Chan is left to cry by himself on the track path. Stray Kids storylines are so complex and interesting to me! I’d love to see more of your reactions to their MVs

Honestly, I would not think I.N. is your bias. I that thought was Changbin but I did think I.N. was your Wrecker so I was close. It is all personal preference but I feel like you gravitated toward Changbin out of all of then because you a reaction for him during almost every clip but also during that first clip, the first person you spoke about was Changbin. You commented on how hot he was but you also acknowledged how much he has matured and how he shows a lot of diversity with his singing and his rapping. You also acknowledged similar things with I.N., specifically with his choreo. This might also be wishful thinking of me thinking I.N. was your Wrecker because I feel whenever someone gets introduced to a new group, they almost always gravitate toward the maknae of the group unless that person has a type of performer. For instance: my bias for SKZ is Bang Chan and my Wrecker is Hyunjin because I gravitate toward the Leader and the Dancer for a variety of reasons.
