Chaeyoung was one of the biggest threats for the other girls during sixteen. She write her own raps, in every sub unit shes always present (even in dance cover), can draw and paint, (she designed their special debut album limited edition), chaeyoung has written the most lyrics out of all members followed by dahyun. But in B-sides, she shines so so much, specially their recent tracks like Icon, or from their latest album. It’s because they’ve known each other for such a long time and were friendly before forming. Jihyo, Nayeon and Jeongyeon had the longest training periods (10, 5.16 and 5.67 years each). So they trained together for 5 years and were in a predebut team that didn’t end up debuting. Momo, Sana and Mina bonded as they are all Japanese. Momo and Sana actually joined the company on the same day and were trainees for over 3 years (Mina has the shortest trainee period of about a year). Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu are the maknae line (1998, 99, 99) and were close as trainees too. Then they all trauma bonded on Sixteen, the survival show of JYP female trainees, (thanks JYP for that) and have been inseparable since. They, for the LONGEST time, would only ever do group promotions. They had no desire to do solo stuff and their group focus was Twice. They all also unanimously renewed their contracts very recently, without having group conversation or consulting each other about it. They wanted each person’s decision to renew and stay as TWICE to be their own choice, without outside influence. OT9 will be forever!

I mean 7 years isn't a short period of time. They did say they weren't really close at the beggining (can't blame them. girls had to compete for their position) but now it's like they have some kind of separation anxiety haha they miss each other even when they're not together FOR A DAY. And because they love each other so much they recently renewed their contract. Sadly, I can't agree with you enough about Chaeyoung. If you watch their pre-debut show "Sixteen" where they competed to be a member of Twice, Chaeyoung has the most well-rounded raw talent of the group being strong in vocals, dance, rap, and stage presence. Unfortuantely, she's overlooked because of the roles they give her. Chaeyoung shows her real talents when she gets the chance like in The Way You Love Me during Sixteen (everything), Twice - Touchdown performed live during Twicelights (vocals), bloodline dance cover with Kiel Tutin (dance), Twice - Basics rap part that she wrote for herself and Momo.

I was so interested in learning each member(took me about a week), there are so many of them. Now I can say, I know each one, their personalities through their vlogging. I love all the music videos and their live performance. I am proud of Jeongyeon, she has been through a lot with her health. All the girls are such good singers and dancers. If you want to know them you have to watch "time to twice" In my opinion they are capable to stay together because the 3 biggest egos (jeongyeon, nayeon & jihyo) work really well together and always includes the rest members in everything. Then they have Sana who is the responsible to keep them in good mood and give good vibes to everyone and the maknae line who are such good pleople, they are extremely talented but they like to be neutral or just have fun. And then they are such a bunch of humble people who knows that they won't be nothing without their fans, is the only veteran group I've seen doing thing that normally rookies group do only because they want to give content to their fans or just wanna have a good time with them

I recommend to listen to their live OR studio version of ICON, Chaeyoung(the rapper you say is gettin gheld back) shines so much in that song, and you'll definitely like it.

24:00 i’m pretty sure I’ve commented this before but I will keep saying it, you need to watch the concert performance of their song Icon. It really shows off Chaeyoung and her amazing rapping skills! Tbh I really hope Chaeyoung gets more shine in future eras cuz she really is so amazing. There is also a song called Hello that’s just Chaeyoung, Momo, and Nayeon and there is also a concert video for it on youtube which is another song that shows off Chaeyoung’s skill (and Momo’s too which I feel when it comes to Vocals tends to be ignored. Which is wild to me because she has a very unique voice like you can hear it in their cover of Move by Taemin that her voice really just has a cool and unique sound to it.) Yay you finally reacted to What Is Love! That's their peak cutesy era and it was done in a perfect way to kind of cap off their bubblegum pop run. After that they did a 360 degree shift with more elegant concepts like Fancy, Feel Special, etc and they continue to break new grounds on exploring genres and continually acing it, proving that they can offer so much more while still having that Twice branding. Their japanese discography is top tier too!! Since you asked if they get along, yes. SO MUCH ACTUALLY. Even other groups (red velvet, nmixx, etc) and jyp himself applaud the way their close-knit bond over the past 7 years. Its so genuine and deep, honestly their songs made me check them out but their relationship with each other made me stan them. Its crazy how much love and commitment they have for their team and for each other. Theyre even so proud, not one of them has ever had a fight with each other in the past 7 years. I love how you keep noticing my bias Jeongyeon (one with pucca hair in The Feels) having fewer lines in MVs despite having a good talent and techniques, well we can't blame the entertainment for that cause Nayeon is the lead singer that's why they're giving her more lines than the main singer. Having Momo with lower registers is so good idk why do others say "she can't sing" but we know not everyone has the same vocal ranges since this is a girl group every single one of them is unique, one with a good vocal range, one with good techniques, one with a stable voice, a dance machine, one with an angelic voice and so on, which makes them all a good combination and addition with their personalities they didn't even have a huge argument up until now since their debut, they even talked about it and laughed. I also like how JYPE's way of selecting individuals with good personalities, I've seen a lot of interactions from them - from Stray kids to Itzy to Twice and other new JYPE groups. Time to Twice is a series on their YT channel where they do games/competitions and sometimes even do like little role-playing scenarios (like murder mystery’s and such) and you can really get a feel for each of their personalities, and their relationships from that.

They are very very close. We always joke about them having separation anxiety when they are apart even for a few days. They always hang out together, go to eat, try new hobbies like pottery and surfing, go on holidays together, even spend national holidays with each other's families (especially the non-korean members), there was even a time when jeongyeon's sister said tzuyu texted her saying she was at her home playing with her dogs😂 so yeah, they really love and cherish each other a lot. I agree with you the rap in Likey is SUCH good vibes. It's solidified as my fave song of theirs even though it totally wouldn't usually be my thing.
