Chaeyoung is the one punching the air, she's one of the most chill members, I think she just goes with the flow in front of the cameras and lets the weirdness come out lol And you're right about Dahyun, she has a hard time not smiling, when they dance she's always grinning and singing the other members lines.

That is the reason why their B side tracks are good. You can hear all their voices, line distribution is fair especially if the song is written by one of the members. They really shine in their B sides. I feel like the title track is just meant to attract you and once you’re hooked, BAM! You get the B side tracks and you are totally inlove with their vocals! Hahahaha.

I loved your analysis of this song (which is my first time listening to it!) and if you want the exact opposite in terms of style and that expected fierceness, then “Icon” is the song for you (and the rapper you express liking and wanna hear more of, Chaeyoung, has a long rap solo that’s fantastic). It’s another all-English track and I’d recommend watching one of the live performances that has Jeongyeon in it as she was on break when it was initially performed (and speaking of my girl, if you like members who deserve more spotlight to shine and don’t often get it, then she is #1 in that area which may be part of why she’s my bias too xD).

Chaeyoung is my bias wrecker! 🥹 She is literally so so talented. She has the most writing credits out of all TWICE members, too. Her and Dahyun (the other rapper with the beyond cute smile) are the most credited in the group, they have written and composed the most songs. I hope you get to dive into their b-sides, because that is where the members shine the most in their musicality and writing talents. I recommend you start with the Eyer Wide Open album, which was almost entirely written by the members and my ultimate favorite Twice album, as well as my top 2 in the entire Kpop industry. There are many guides out there of course, but Cody & Wyatt's "A Beginners Guide to Twice" is the most informative and really tells their story of their beginnings, not only as a group but also their individual backgrounds. It's a little older but still the most complete. A lot of the newer guides seem to be more for entertainment and better suited for when you've already experienced a lot of their other non-MV videos; they're full of inside jokes that would only make sense once you've gotten to know them better.

(Sadly) Chaeyoung gets very little screen time and lines in the official MVs especially in their early days. In one of the title tracks called "Dance the night away" back in 2018 she got no line, can you imagine?!?! But, thank God, these days she's getting more lines in their B-sides.

(Do not react to it on KZfaq, will definitely be blocked) It is a series that brings you through their pre-debut days, their beginning till the 2019 world tour, where the last legs were canceled due to covid. They shared how / why they became trainees and also some insights of themselves.

Time to Twice episodes are great for seeing their personalities. They are currently doing a cooking competition Time to Twice, however, Nayeon is not in this one....yet. I recommend the newer Time to Twice series as it shows them more as they are now. (quite chaotic when together!) Twice was formed by a reality TV series called Sixteen. Sixteen pits 16 JYP trainees in competition for 7 spots in a new girl group with members being eliminated along the way. In the end JYP decides to make it a 9 member group. It's a very emotional series, but really shows what they had to go through to get where they are. It is quite drama filled as most reality shows are.

Cody and Wyatt's Beginners Guide is very informative (kinda outdated) but still very good and then you have Fundrey's which is personality/character driven kind of video (really fun too). I don't think I've seen an updated guide for TWICE that's close to how Cody and Wyatt did, which was very helpful. This song was such a sweet gift to their fans. Really listening to the lyrics it’s like a story of their growth and how they thank their fans for where they are today. I feel they are one of the few groups that really show appreciation to their fans. There was no script to follow for this MV so seeing the girls as they are and their strong bond together is so warming.

Seeing your journey with twice really reminds me of mine. I was very adamant that I was only going to stick to listening to the music after hearing I can't stop me. But they have so much content to choose from and theyve also grown up the past 7 years, so their early contents was also really fun too. This is a month late so I quite doubt you’d see this, but I think a reason why Chaeyoung, the main rapper, doesn’t seem to be getting much proper raps recently is because she’s actually really good vocally too. If you notice in some of their newer title tracks, it seems like she gets more vocal lines than rap lines, while in their older tracks, she almost gets only rap lines, and thats probably because whoever distributes lines for their songs recognize chaeyoung as a good vocalist too, and probably don’t give her much rap lines now to not overflow her with too many lines (Even though they overflow like Nayeon with many lines but I think you get what I’m saying) If you’re looking for songs where she actually has good raps, its mostly in their b-sides, especially the ones where chaeyoung writes herself. The b-sides I’d suggest are Icon, Basics, and then maybe Hello and Eye eye eyes. And one of their japanese title tracks Better has some decent raps too. Theres probably more but that’s all I can really remember right now

I think queen of hearts is about Twice and their fans, onces "it's all because of you I'm queen of hearts" (quoting approximately). I mean, it's from between 1&2, their first Korean album after contract renewal. To me each girls have their spotlight, if you take a look at their bside and even their Japanese releases. At least I think it's pretty fair if you look at the whole album overall! But Jihyo and Nayeon are definitely putting forward tho, especially on title track! I'm still not complaining, because they are all having their own moments, they all even write their songs and take credits for it. For a group of 9 women it's pretty well managed to me! Their personalities are golden! I mean, they really are funny, like... really! They are happiness boosters. They are also all so different but you can see that they deeply care for each other. "feel special" lyrics says a lot about their relationship. And they also truly care about once, not just because it's their job. My bias is Sana and she is so funny, clumsy energetic and such a sweetheart. Her duality on stage is phenomenal! The way she is genuinely happy to see once, to take their gifts secretly in the streets, when she isn't supposed to is priceless ! There are a lot of emotional videos, of them on stage. Jeongyeon coming back on tour, Sana crying when the members and fans sang her happy birthday, each members receiving special trophies made by the fans to tell them how proud they are, projects videos showed to twice on concert... Their bound is totally awesome!

My first ever favourite Kpop group is SHINee. I instantly fell for them after seeing their debut song "Replay". My heart was so broken when I heard Jonghyun passed away. After that I got a way from Kpop as I became busy with studies in college. Then in 2021 I discovered TWICE (with Alcohol Free) and I felt totally fell for them and their genuiness. I can confidently say that TWICE is THE BEST. For me achievements don't matter much because records are meant to be broken. Even though SHINee was not the most popular boy group, I loved their music and uniqueness. And same way or even more, I love TWICE, for their hard work and sincerity towards their fans. I just wanna say I'm glad now I'm getting to enjoy you react to both of my favourite groups ☺️
