Toronto St. Patrick's Day Flashmob by Tourism Ireland

Күн бұрынTourism Ireland, together with the 100-member newchoir, Maureen's Reel Irish Dancers and the Celtic Dance Centre, surprised and delighted an unsuspecting public with a Glee-style performance of Irish favourites "Beautiful Day" by U2, "Brown-eyed Girl" by Van Morrison and "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto. The performance was coordinated by Tourism Ireland, Scott Pietrangelo, Maureen Mulvey O'Leary and filmed and edited by Casey and Kody McWilliams with additional camerawork by Nathan Legiehn and Brook McWilliams.

Ok, I've been putting it off for quite sometime. As of today I have decided that I am going to come visit this summer, perhaps in May, and I look forward to jamming with folks there and hopefully meeting some distant relatives!

@Jeffrey Remick: Flash mobs ARE organized events! Whatever convinced you that they weren't?!? Look at all of the best and most famous ones to date. They ALL involve PA systems, microphones (hidden or otherwise), multiple camera set-ups, you name it. Hell, even some of the worst ones involve pre-planning. That's how these things work. And this one's a real treat!
