Here we trace the wondrous journey of "Bharat" through time and we graciously acknowledge the contribuntions of the players in the ever evolving life of "Bharat".

Well shankaracharya ji visited all india at almost more than 1200 years ago, and built four math in four different directions of India, there is a temple of shankaracharya in kashmir and four math in badrinath, kedarnath, kanchi, Dwarika, puri etc, and was born in kerala

you forgot to mention Shrungeri math... jyotirmath or joshimath as they call it today ...in north, Dwarika at West , Puri in the East and Shrungeri in the South... Four mathas founded by Adi Shankaracharya..

Sir, info in this documentary is not complete. You seem to ignore Ramayana, Mahabharata and Kalidas's Raghuvamsha. Also Vishnupuran which is considered very old [4th century BC??]. Please re-do a documentary. Also refer to Gauda Desha and Dravida Desha references and more.

Can you also tell something about shaktipeeths of devi, total 52 in number, hinglaz mata in present Balochistan, sharda peeth in Neelam valley kashmir, one shaktipeeth in tibbet along mansarovar lake, one in Nepal, few in Bangladesh, few in Nepal, and shankari devi shaktipeeth in sri lanka.

Sir, very nice video, thanks for providing information about Bharat name history. I have a question, as in the video you have mentioned that King Asoka inscription on the rock mentions India name as Jamboo dweepa was it excluding only extreme south India ? As King Asoka ruled from Kashmir to few parts Tamil nadu and afghanistan to Burma, then is it right to say our country first name is Jamboo Dweepa.

I disagree with the presentation. In itihaasa Mahabharat - Arjun fought with tribes from South India and Ramayan has from N to S. Kalidasa 'Meghaduta' refers to Ujjain. Ashoka spent a fortune to conquer Deccan & Orissa. Shankracharya established the Muth in 4 directions of Bharat. The same Vedic culture is prevalent in Northern and Southern areas. Sanskrit is written in all Indian scripts including Devanagari. All Muslims and Christian can trace their grandmothers were Hindu (or following some form of vedic culture). I can rest my case. BTW - you speak good Urdu which is also gift of Bharat😀

His point is geographical concept of bharat , word bharat and its geographical area. From your point of ramayana and mahabharat , how will you establish this link : bharat and its geographical area . Similarly your all point are lack context. And Urdu is not bharatiya , its origin is in persian

I strongly urge you to consider a remake of the video with Vinshu Puran, Valmiki Ramayana, Mahabharata (reference of the King of Udupi), Arthashahtra and Magasthenes' Indica taken into consideration. Also, please try to delve deeper into the meaning of 'Desh'. You may be able to differentiate between Rajya (political entity) and Desh/ Rastra/ Varsha (landmass with similar people). I'm sure, you shall not find the need to twist 'Bharat naam purana hai, par desh naya hai'. Thank you!

वीडियो में कथानक ठीक है किंतु कथन अपूर्ण प्रतीत होते हैं रामयण में कहीं भी वर्तमान भारत जिसमें पाकिस्तान ,अफगानिस्तान और बांग्लादेश शामिल है अलग नहीँ दिखाया गया है। भारत मे प्राचीन काल से ही अलग अलग स्थानों पर अलग अलग राज्य रहे किंतु सभी की संस्कृति एक रही और धार्मिक क्रिया कलाप पूरे देश में समान रहे ।अफगानिस्तान से वर्मा की सीमा तक और बलोचिस्तान से कुमारी अंतरीप तक कि सांस्कृतिक सीमा ही भारत के अवधारणा है । यही कारण है कि इस्लाम अपनाने के बाद भी इस सीमा में बसने वालों के रीत रिवाज आज भी लगभग हर क्षेत्र में एक से हैं । प्रस्तुत कर्ता को अधिक शोध की आवश्यकता है ।

I am still not updated on Jambu Dwip. Kindly elaborate. In our Hindu rituals , Havana and Mantras chanted by Pandit, word Jambu Dwip is still reflected. Was Indo- Gangetic plane surrounded by big rivers was Jambu Dwip. Please clarify.

No for the matter look into Jain and Buddhist literature. Jambo deep is not something on earth, it is a cosmic space where the our earth reside. It is very complicated to explain. But, don't try to allocate Jambu dweep with the geography of this earth. about this thing, it is mention is in Jain Agamas.

Sir, with all due respect I want to covey that it is not the Britishers who had created the first ever AKHAND BHARAT but it was the mighty Mauryan Dynasty who had created that. Moreover princely states are not directly ruled as British Indian territory, they are under their suzerainity. In addition to that Portuguese & French too had their own territory in Indian subcontinent.

Not really, the Britishers gave us the modern map of India including Southern states like TN. The Mauryans were East Indians who conquered the rest of India, Pakistan and parts of Afghanistan and Iran, although not TN and some other North eastern states. 🙂

Ok, how do you explain as stated ramayana composed in Gupta dynesty era between 200 Ad to 300 Ad, so how can places like Panchwati, Kishkindha, Rameshwar, Takedh, Tadkavan, exist as stated reference to South Indian places came after 10th century Ad, also how come Satvahana, Chera, Chalukya managed to expand partly to madhya pradesh, and Gujrath as to influence great truck road also how come Roman Empire have thought of single indenty as bharat Or Indus way back in 2nd Century BC

According to the Vishnu Purana, written anywhere between 400 BC to 900 CE, says, "The country that lies north of the ocean and the south of the snowy mountains is called Bharat for there dwell the descendants of the Bharat." Uttaram yastsamundrasya, Himadres Haiva dakshinain Vaisham tad Bharatam nama Bharatiyatia santatih. In other words, it is stated that the subcontinent of India stretches from the Himalayas to the sea. It is known as Bharatvarsha or the land of Bharat where the descendants of Bharata live.
