These are excellent for Northern cars dealing with salt in the colder months. Now all we need is Bilt Hamber to release their anti-corrosion snow foam here in the US, and a way to include a soap/chemical into the undercarriage process

Exactly this! Only way is if you could put it in one of the soap dispensers built into some pressure washers but obviously no foam

simple solution there. Get 4 soap dispenser nozzles and get the tube deal to drop in a bucket of your soap. if you have a truck, maybe this is where the ryobi deal could be fitted with the soap nozzles and leave the mtm as is.

If you're up to it you can make one. Sweet Project Cars channel lays it out. I think he even has a version for applying NH Oil. Not sure.

The problem is the frozen hose bibs and turning the driveway into an ice skating rink after washing.

The only thing is not every one is washing their vehicles on pavement. Some people are on dirt drives ways rock sand etc. the only one that would work would be the RYOBI because of the wheels.

If the car is too low, drive it up on some 2x4 pieces of wood or bricks. That should allow enough clearance

I bought the Roybi bc of the larger wheels. I have a Jeep. It works great.

MTM is just a few miles down the road from me. Used to work a couple buildings over, never knew what they did until I joined the OG community.

I’ve made my own undercarriage washer. Used an old patio cleaner and wheels from a skateboard.

So here's my takeaway: the Ryobi has better pressure and built for MOST cars. What should be bought in addition is that 36 inch lance and the swivel with wheel so that way you're not having to get low to the ground with just your wand attached.

It also can be used as a broom vs just dedicated to a vehicle.

Thats what i thought when i saw the MTM, Matt also wants higher pressure so smaller nozzles :P. The MTM is the best most versatile option for sure. I think we can use this for sure :)

I have been looking to pick up a uc wash head for a few weeks. I usually just use a lawn sprinkler.

Just an idea, what about quick disconnects for the nozzles? Easy to swap for types of car. For example cleaning a 4x4 and a sports car. Just they typical while, yellow and green ones

I’d definitely try this set out! Last summer bought ryobi one liked the fact of bigger wheels because I have a truck but EVEN with a 3300 psi gas PW REAL CRAPPY PRESSURE, barely any pressure hit my truck undercarriage! Like this MTM one set up but definitely would need stronger tips!

Any plans to add these to the store, or should I just order from MTM? Rob needs to go back to school on pressure and flow though. The pressure is dependent on the orifice size and the pressure drop through the hose and fittings in the system. Whether you have 1 nozzle or 4, the pressure is the same for a given orifice size. The pressure does not divide...the flow divides.

The nozzles on the MTM are too far apart, and on lower vehicles like the Vette, it looks like it might leave clean stripes on the undercarriage. The killer setup would appear to be the Ryobi with smaller wheels, the MTM third wheel and flexible wands, or the MTM with a closer spacing and a three nozzle spray bar.

Matt, could you just use the wand with your OG set-up to connect to the MTM undercarriage sprayer? Obviously, be shorter but would still accomplish the task and save $$$ having multiple wands.

A great design to be sure and if you're doing it for a living, or money is no object, it would be worth it. Otherwise, you spend $60 on Amazon for the Ryobi or countless others and make it work or even make your own like some on ebay have done. $250 is just hard to justify to me. Maybe MTM can make a smaller version with 3 sprayers and shrink the price. A good, better, best approach?

Exce4 for the Ryobi, tnese are all way over-priced. Ill find snaller wheels for the Ryobi or make one of the other ones out of PVC.

Mitchell W exactly! I don’t know if there removable, but what’s on there now are toddler scooter wheels. In this world you can make anything work!! I think the ryobi is the way to go unless you have the money to just throw away then go for the MTM setup that will cost $400. $40 or $400🤔 lol

Mitchell W you can also buy wand extenders and swivels on amazon for cheap. It’s like I said your rinsing the under carriage no need to spend over $100 to do the same thing. 3 nozzles are better than 4 for most people that have cheaper pressure washers. 4 nozzles might not give you the pressure you need.

Funny how when he uses the Ryobi all of a sudden his brain stops working, other explanation says he just wants to make it seem difficult to use. $40 Ryobi or Amazon Chinese copy vs Adams / MTM at least $150, no brainer unless you like to pee money away.

Bought the Cryobi years ago, havnt used it yet, hope I dont regret it. I do plan on going to a machine shop to have them make me smaller wheels. When is the old man mobile going into the intro?

Can’t you just buy rollerblade wheels? The ones that are on there look like scooter wheels! I have never looked at the ryobi in person, but there should be a way to be able to take them off??? Now I’m curious!

Matt I might seriously have to get hold of him from MTM, we have several I think six industrial pressure washers at the winery we use them to clean everything from concrete to our giant tanks that hold wine and we’re looking for something that has good durability and isn’t 💩

but amazon sells many with 4/5 tips that can handle 4500 psi for 25-59.99 from 1 foot to 3 feet with the attachment with wheels 2in tall to 5 in tall for lowered cars to big trucks basicly I know u need to make money but your 5 time more expensive.

@@MidShipCivic You do in the Northeast because the salt and slush destroy vehicles here in no time. That's the market for these, not detailers detailing exotics/show cars that are never driven in the salt and snow.
