Wow, look at you! You are being brave, making your voice heard, and making a difference! Good for you!!! You are an amazing person! This was a fascinating discussion. It comes at an interesting time in my life when I've actually been pulling away from the internet a little because I haven't been making time for other interests that are very fulfilling for me. I need to learn moderation. :) I also have been thinking about that temptation to just make our lives look perfect on facebook. I'm thinking that there should probably be a balance. There are some people who seem to make negative posts all the time, and I find that a little annoying, but I wouldn't want them to keep quiet either. I don't tend to enjoy people making a fuss over me so I rarely post about tough things I'm going through. But I do meet in person with a very close group of friends once a month and that helps a lot because we all share things (good and bad) and it's a really safe place to do so as we all encourage and lift each other up. It helps to have friends who have similar experiences and can totally commiserate. In my case it's a group of homeschool moms. :)
