Thus, if Satan was in Disgaea, it doesn't matter how high his stats are, you can get a custom or story character that is even stronger. Considering that the party was already getting exhausted by just 0.8 million angles its no surprise to see that this ending leads to everyone's deaths if even Valvatores and his party of misfits can't save the day its only a matter of time before the angles get there way and forsake everything so yeah the worlds fucked but you did get to take on god himself so there's a small silver lining here.

Unlikely, since Baal seems to roam around eating worlds (and thus gods that rule over them.) It's one of the reason some people think he's the future of the Devour Lord Ending of Soul Nomad. So a God would likely not approach his level of power, but then, you never know I guess.

@supermariofoof when you finish the game normally, it takes you to post game. new content becomes available such as additional characters and you can unlock the Mt. of Ordeals (which has the best grinding spot). when you get this ending, what happens is that as soon as the game ends you start the story all the way from the beginning again. (and would have to finish the game again with the normal ending to proceed to post game).

The thing about this ending is that it seems to be a mishmash of the Japanese Shinto concept of the Eight Million Gods and Abrahamic Faiths. This is complete nonsense since one is based around the concept of many lesser gods that embody the world and everything else around us and the other is Monotheistic with an all powerful God. In other words, don't take it so seriously.
