I was like 13 when I played this the first time and I cried my damn eyes out

This game has an amazing plot, soundtrack, gameplay and great character development Disgaea 1 and 4 are equals, one of the best game series ever!

This part of the game made me break down and cry. I was so sad what happened to Flonne.

After 7 years, I never completed the game and I finally got to know the ending:(: so sad and a masterpiece...thanks you for uploading it, i may now rest in peace

this is one of my favourite games ever, and i miss being able to play it... so i thank you for uploading all these awesome videos, as long as there is a disgaea fan out there, you will never be forgotten!

The voice acting in this game is ridiculously good

I just noticed that when Flonne said goodbye it was the same way Laharl's mother said goodbye in Episode 8

When I play this level with Laharl as a member of my main party, I always finish the game with him using Overlord's Wrath on Lamington.

After playing D5, this is a little more interesting

I have only played through the game once, but I too used that to finish him.

So looking forward to the remake.

On the other hand, imagining Seraph as a drill sergeant would be even harder than imagining Captain Gordon the Defender of Earth as a library worker.

@Ankam863 well he is the seraph after all by the way if you think lamington is hard eve at level 104 try defeating judge nemo in disgaea 4.

@greencomet2011 Lvl 500+ Valvatorez with a leveled up common rank 10-16ish sword. I dont remember what weapon it was. Since my Valvatorez is lvl 1400+ now.

@Xotser Yeah, I kept defeating the last map, and had a lvl 104 Laharl and thought I was sure to win. And now .. . . .2900 attack and all other stats over 1,500 for him. I saw a guide that called him lvl. 90. Then I looked at his stats. Seriously overpowered for lvl. 90.

I'm kind of happy that I own an original PS2 copy of the game, the PSP and PS4 releases are good but... Etna's current voice actor just can't top the original, if you have the original, just compare the absolute fury that Etna (You'll be sorry if you do!) replies to Lamington. Good thing her voice actor really got into her role later. Still.. I loved her original actor

I did that with every boss that dared to defied him, and with the final post game bosses of disgaea 2,3, 4, phantom brave, makai kingdom, and the same with every boss in disgaea dimension 2, except for the first form of the final boss, wich etna killed final form of the final boss, who i finished of with overlord dimension (his new SS overpowered skill).

I just started playing disgeae and I don't fully understand what Celestia is and why does Laharl keep saying "The Netherworlds" isn't there more then one?

@greencomet2011 but you have to admit the griding levels in disgaea 4 made easier.
