@BlazingGear The White Tiger at the beginning is from Disgaea 2's arrange album, Axel's theme in Disgaea 4 is Pandora Ignition . However the original White Tiger plays during the post-game battle with Axel.

Zetta Beaaam Neo is hilariously awesome. I also couldn't help but snicker at the Prinny cloud created by Kurtis' Pringer Beam (Much better then the wimpy little explosion it made in 2), and also at the fact that the cloud is proportionately larger when created by a giant Kurtis.

@Hardman5509 He's only usable in the post-game, but he plays a somewhat notable role in the game's story, so he's not quite what you'd call a cameo.

Actually, Axel is his japanese name, however the spelling for it in Japanese, is Akutare(アクターレ) when spoken it sounds more like "Aktare" this is because the EE and UU vowel sounds often get dropped when speaking quickly. To spell "Axel" literally is not easy, and trying to spell it literally would be much harder to pronounce. But typically every character has a name, and a katakana spelling of it.

In the promotional material, it was always Axel = Akutare. I understand what you mean by Akuseru. But he was directly named after Axel Rose and the spelling Akutare came later.

... actually, to spell Axel you just gotta say "Akuseru" for instance, SRW's Axel Almer "アクセル　アルマ". the name is just diferent. From Akutare "アクターレ" to "アクセル". This was just a translation issue, not a big one. a name change, that's it.

Quick question, again. Why is Axel a cameo character, despite being featured on the box art and in the opening? Is he like Master Bigstar and Salvatore from Disgaea 3; where you have them for a while, but lose them, and get them back in the epilouge?

you can't use axel for the main story but it doesn't mean you'll miss using him. you'll definitely get sick of him in one particular chapter lol. I'm not hating axel though. his 3rd unique skill is damn awesome for leveling.
