i haven't played Disgaea 5 in a while. Since i don't have my ps4, I'm starting fresh on pc. so i'm revisiting your videos.

I actually gave my sage fists for lols and it works much better than it should. Since fists can debuff defense and land decimator hits the entire map, the entire map gets debuffed on the first turn. Then other units come in and mop up whatever is left. May not be the most efficient, but is very fun.

Got some use out of Echoing Hymn with a Magic Knight, since its another way to boost her elemental damage, outside of Braveheart etc.

Wouldn't echoing hymn be pretty good as support for magic knights, since their damage scales with their resistances to elements? It's also pretty useful in regards to raising resistance to star element, something that isn't too common.

1:03 I unlocked the Dark Knight class after ~15 hours...so the Vital Steal skill IS available earlier in the game. You just have to be good at it lol

I was wondering why the Sage's Land Decimator skill was doing so little damage for me, but then I found out that it's based on ATK rather than INT, which is kind of counterintuitive for the Sage's main stats...

The angel hostess resist buff is op skill combo with an evelity that increases the damage base on element resistance. She is a great support late game combined with a tank. But nearly all game can be one shoted.

It's interesting how they sort of splitted the all powerful Majin into 2 powerhouses with Dark Knight and Sage. I find the Sage more fun to use, even if she's so "Meta" that everyone uses her at some point. Having a lot of damage with so little effort is an addicting venom that the Sage provides. Multi Attacker is a super useful buff, and Land Decimator sounds awesome, looks awesome and is basically a portable Orverload, although much weaker, but still very useful for getting Revenge Shards. Big boy Dark Knight looks fun, and his common evilities are very good for Warriors, but I never ended up using one for some reason. Angels are interesting. The male counterpart works very well with ranged units, specially when combined with Christo and Usalia, but other than moving them around to get more use of their Unique, I don't find them that strong. The female one used to be broken in Disgaea 1, but now is reduced to a more support class. The idea of having a angel only playthrough never crossed my mind, but it looks fun to try out some time. The only downside is that they unlock so late into the story, keeping you locked at the Female until then.

I made my dark knight by chapter 4 because I use sub classes and stuff to make him early, I guess by late game, you mean he gets really good late game when it's easier to get better weapons?

how do rank up de clases? is it the type of weapon or something else?

The angels ..I call them the kamikaze class cause they both have suicide unique skill😂

As far as the Sage goes... is she really the best generic? I know she's irreplaceable as speeding up the grind but could I make like... a Skull to be just as good when it comes to being a pure damage dealer for bosses? I'm definitely using her, I'd just rather have other units as my mains is all...
