I am a chelsea fan and have been since I was 2 years old, now 13 years old. I watch champions league games all the time with my dad and seeing us go into the semi finals was a dream come true. As of now, seeing the possibility of is being kicked out of the champions league, although it sounds childish, makes me feel like crying. This season we haven’t been able to go because of Covid so as a club we’ve missed out on all the highs there is of being a football fan. If this super league is to go ahead what happens at the end of the season. Do we participate for the first time in Europe in years? I live in greece in a state of athens called aspropyrgos and we have a local team that im playing for (at the academy of course u-16) but i also support A. E. K Athens because my family does and I was liking this team and still do and actually we are the only team that has never been defeated from real madrid on the Champions League. (oh and also my local team plays in the third pro division) Because im a little bit young i have gone to watch only one game of A. E. K. And not a single game for the actual team that I play for, only from tv. (I started playing for them in october 2019 and when the covid stroke we stopped)

I completely agree with everything you say. I’m from Sweden and support Malmö and we have the same look on supporter culture and football in general. I have traveled several times in Europe just to lose against teams like Wolfsburg and Chelsea. Even though we’re shit that’s not the point, what matters is the times you have with you mates.

The base of the “founders” of the Superleague it’s they’re fanbase. The clubs that are in have an estimated 4mln fan all across the world. With that being said you don’t need to be a genius to get the point. The more the fans, the more the money they spend to watch the matches, to buy they’re kits. It’s a financial solution for the clubs that made it, cause they don’t have to share and split all the money that UEFA take with the advantage of the presence of this clubs in his competitions. And it’s a solution for who pays to watch football matches, so you don’t pay to see Real Madrid - Qarabag, you get top quality matches every week. The world is changing, don’t be close to new things.

I think its good for them to go. Closes the gap and opens up the possibility for normal average teams to actually compete regularly in the Premier league and I'm happy with that. The gulf between those top 6 and the rest of the PL is too enormous! It'll NEVER be a level playing field whole they're there.

I'm a United fan (from Manchester, lived here my whole life), and I am fundamentally against this. I'm heartbroken that my club is involved in this and if it were to go ahead I'd turn my back on the club I've loved and supported since childhood. I go to games as and when possible, as a working class man I can barely afford to go to the glamour fixtures as the cost of tickets are ridiculous, sell out ridiculously quickly and the wait for a season ticket is as big as Old Trafford itself (something else I hate about the commercialisation of my club) I believe every club involved in this should be sanctioned heavily, and I pray this never happens, I'll never watch United again and I've no idea what I'll do as I love football

I live in Croatia, I was born here and since birthi have loved clubs like barca but i always supported 2 teams: Hajduk Split who play in the 1st croatian division and i love that club to the core beacuse i live 10 km from the club and also my local team NK Dugopolje who play in the 2nd croatian division and i would rather watch Dugopolje, BSK Bijelo Brdo and Hrvatski Dragovoljac battle for promotion to the 1st croatian league than watch the champions league final i swear down i am not lying. I LOVE my local team and i feel liam since i am young i dont go to away games but when we play home games against fucking Dinamo 2 who are last in the 2nd division by far. I love walking with my friends, going to watch a game and cheering for our team and fuck the super league fuck football im sticking with my beloved NK Dugopolje i feel Liam and i undestand him.
