How does a dishwasher work?
It cleans by spraying hot water, typically between 55-75 °C at the dishes, with lower temperatures used for delicate items. A mix of water and detergent is sprayed on the dishes. Once the wash is finished, the water is drained, more hot water is sprayed in for a rinse cycle. After the rinse cycle the water is drained and a heating element in the bottom of the tub heats the air to dry the dishes. Sometimes a rinse aid is used to eliminate water spots for streak-free dishes.

Mam, you didn't mention about one main and important con of LG. Why ? When power goes during washing programme machine start from beginning. It is main minus point of LG. One more thing you have given 2 link to buy LG but you haven't given a single link to buy IFB.

In LG Dishwasher, when power is cut, the program that is running does not start at the same time and when the power comes back after power cut, why does it take extra 30 or 40 minutes.

Nicely explained however intoo like LG dishwasher but many reviews pointed LG does not resume back to same point after power cut.of fluctuations which is a major miss. I stay I. Apartments though we have power backup but it takes 2 mins to come back it goes back 30-45mins back to washing cycle

@@kirthim2196 yes, LG does not resume the cycle. After power cut, wash cycle gets delayed by more than 1 hour. It's After sales service is very bad. Product is unreliable. My dishwasher has been out of order for more than a month and nothing has been done. I have moved for refund. Do not buy it.

Mam how is your experience, please reply me, most of the people are saying it's having power cut issues (while power was gone it never remember the memory), heating element issue, steam issue (while drying it was making white stains on the vessel's), kindly please help me, how's that,I need to buy immediately

1. When there is a power outage/fluctuation cleaning cycle will not resume from where it ended 2. Hardwater stain spots in vessels after cleaning cycle. Not recommended for places water hardness is high

Hello. Both Dishwashers have same dimensions: ~59X59X85. Then any particular reason why you found LG more spacious then IFB?

Actually IFB's this Model has an extra/separate cutlery tray, which is placed on the upper side. and it is independent tray which means it is not using the main tray's space. whereas in LG you have to place it in the given tray means it is reducing the space of main tray. It means IFB has more space. It seems that it may be sponsored vdo.

Dial zone does not change the timing. It only ensures that the upper rack gets milder water jets so that the plastics and soft glass utensils don't lose their shine and shape.

It will not resume. Wash cycle will be restarted. One of the main disadvantage of the LG DFB424FP

This is the only disadvantage i chose bosch over LG. Because resume feature is missing from LG dishwashers.

I don't know where u read ifb one don't have steam, there is side nozzle for steam and when u pause and open door in between wash cycle u can see lots of steam flowing inside dishwasher in ifb, I have ifb neptune vx1 plus model and it cleans very effectively

My experience: Once there was power failure during a cycle, and it resumed when I switched it on. So yes it has a memory to resume the same cycle on power failure but not on delibrate shutdown.

Dishwasher comes with the warranty of 24 months on all parts from the day of purchase for defective material or workmanship. This warranty does not cover front panel / control panel.

The difference which I feel is we might not be able to measure the usage of detergent like washing machine powder where we can't make out the amount of powder. Whereas one tablet does the job when dishwasher is fully loaded and easy to keep a track. Detergent is helpful when dishwasher is half loaded or with less utensils. Another point is most of the tablets comes with in-built rinse aid and salt.

Is Bosch better than IFb? If yes, pls mention with parameters🙏🏻Lg can't resume the process in case of powercut.the technician mentioned that v have to particularly use IFB detergent, rinse, salt. Should v not use finish, fortune tablets and the 3ingredients mentioned above?

Voltas Beko is the best Dishwasher. Bosch, Siemens and IFB haven't upgraded their dishwashers. Voltas Beko comes with 12 years warranty on it's Inverter motor which consumes least power and is virtually maintenance free. It has 3 spray arms, which you don't find in any other dishwasher. Beko is one of the best selling Dishwasher of Europe and Arabic countries.

@@lathac4487 Many of the buyers at Amazon , give rating to the purchased products. Number of rating is directly proportional to the number of products sold. As all the ratings are given by those, who are proven buyers, there is no chance of fudging with figures. Voltas Beko is now selling 14 place and 15 place dishwashers (4 models) dishwashers only through TATA's online store TATACLIQ. Only 8 place dishwasher of Voltas is sold through Amazon. The current figures of Amazon ratings for dishwashers are --- Bosch - 874, Hafele Inox - 2, LG - 155, FB Neptune - 387, Faber - 86 and Voltas Beko (8 Place dishwasher only) - 1703. Voltas dishwashers are so heavily booked that it takes some time before they are delivered. You can still find Voltas 14 place dishwasher on Flipcart but TATAs have stopped giving it to any online store. As I returned LG dishwasher after using it for 15 months, I know that even LG, India's premium dishwasher, would find it difficult to achieve the standards set by Voltas Beko. As Voltas Beko is sold for only 40000/-, Faber 14 place has reduced the price from 45000/- to 37790/-

Use any detergent or salt. For best results, at affordable price, use Fortune detergent, Rinse Aid and Salt. You can use any dishwasher chemical in any brand of dishwasher. If you do not use Tablet, after 12 years you will be rewarded with a Dishwasher, an ac, WASHING MACHINE AND A FOOD PROCESSOR FROM YOUR SAVINGS.

I am returning LG after 1 year of usage, as it does not resume cycle after power cut and it's after sales service is ZERO. It's heater has failed. Rank bad after sales service.

@@parinitaadhikary8093 When did you buy LG? LG comes with 2 years warranty, as such you can invoke warranty within this period. LG people have been tutored to say that LG does not promise that the cycle will resume, BUT if you look at the manual, it clearly says that after power interruption, cycle has to resume. Just dial to the helpline and lodge a complaint. Post a complaint by sending it through Speed Post. Keep the receipt and correspondence for future reference. I have initiated the process and will keep you posted about the progress.

It is good comparison, but you have not mentioned minus point of LG.. it does not start from.where it left during power cut. Also IFB has 3 racks whereas LG has only 2 .. Please mention these kind of important points also .. many people rely on KZfaq to buy new items..

Madam, the features cannot decide the durability. As per my knowledge IFB machines are more durable. As a middle class Indian customer, I will always buy the most durable ones instead of the highest features ones. LG is manufactured in china and we know about Chinese durability. IFB is manufactured from turkey.

I have stopped watching this video after 3 min 30 sec, as the person in video does not know even the meaning of 15 place. She is telling 15 place means you can wash 15 plates in the machine, whereas 15 place actually means the machine can wash 15 dinner plates, 15 quarter plates, 15 bowls and 15 glasses at a time. Video meant only for money making on you tube, ignore it

EXCEPT FOR NON RESUMPTION OF dishwasher AFTER POWER OUTAGE, lG IS EXCETIONALLY GOOD. I HAVE USED IT FOR MORE VTHAN 1 YEAR. NOW I USE THE BEST DISHWASHERR, VOLTAS BEKO.

She is not promoting LG. I have used LG for 15 months. No dishwasher can be compared with LG. LG is a very superior dishwasher. It has about 100 + wash combinations and a very effective water softening system like other popular dishwashers. Third rack is a wastage. it restricts your space for the second (upper) tray. LG use least energy. LG is a tough dishwasher. You can wash utensils for as little as Rs. nine (9/-) per cycle which includes electricity, Salt, Rinse Aid and Detergent. LG has only one BIG problem. It does not accurately resume cycle after power outage.

Even I am also using ifb's Neptune sx1 . It's one d best dishwasher I hv come across. By the way I wld like to knw what water softening system we have in lg. As I kn it isn't.

@@8123096331 I have been actual user of L:G. it's Water Softening system is very efficient. it takes 1 kg salt and 1 liter water to begin with. You can see it on LG website or you can download the manual. LG has more than 100 mind boggling wash combinations. It is the only dishwasher with steam jets at bottom and in door. You can communicate with dishwasher through your mobile phone.
