I took my 82 year father to a character breakfast at Disneyland Paris, no children involved, it was truly magical. He has dementia and he truly came to life seeing the characters. So if being a Disney adult is wrong I don't care and don't want to be right. Disney adults are the best 🤗

My mom once said "All we wanted was to at least get a bread at the fair" because of how strict and poor my parents life were. With that said, I took them to Disney. Fed them all the sweets, got them on the rides, let them dance and take pics with the characters. My mom didnt have to worry about cleaning, didnt have to worry about her kids (we are all grown), got to wear the cutest clothes that she wanted, dress up with ears. My dad got to walk around, eat everything he wanted, laugh at the shows, be in awe at all the details. No stops, no one telling them no. I loved being and letting my parents be cringy adults

Disney created a park that was full of nostalgia so adults could enjoy it and it would speak to their inner child. You have to nourish your inner child. Remember Walt created the park for both children and adults to enjoy so being a Disney adult was part of the creation from the beginning!

It's those few adults that will try to force their way in front of small kids at parade time. Or use tablets to record. Say the show dialogue. Things like that that causes people to dislike the Disney adult. Funny thing is that there are parents there with small kids that do the very same things, plus other more annoying things.

I think a lot of people get what being a Disney adult is mixed up with being a "Karen" . There is a Huge difference between being a Disney Adult who loves all things Disney and looks at Disney with childlike enthusiasm and enjoyment and being someone who feels entitled and ruins the experience for others. A true Disney adult does not infringe on other people's magic bc they are very much aware of how the magic works

I was one of 2 adults on the Disney dining plan and booked Crystal Palace not realising it was character dining and Winnie the Pooh. Initially, being 2 men we cringed inside having been to Disney many times and avoiding character meals believing they were really for families. We sat there mortified until our first character came along, eeyore. The experience was soooo adorable that we couldn’t wait for the other characters and that, as they say my friends, is the rest is history. We have autograph books now 😂

Last week I went to do the Disney Visa Cardholder Photo experience at Epcot, not really knowing what the scenario of the photo was. The cast member at the queue was very secretive about it when guests ahead of me were asking, but I knew it was going to be at least two characters from 'many movies'. Once I got in there I completely lost it to find Mickey and Goofy. It was the best surprise and I turned into a complete kid!

I'm not gonna lie, when Molly said "I miss you" to Tigger and he kissed her hands and then gave her a hug I started ugly crying. In these days that we're living in, hugs and meeting characters as an adult means so much more than a lot of people understand. We were forced to go without human interaction for so long and getting do little things like hug a Disney character just make us feel like things are going to be better. This was beautiful! I have a child, but she's too young for me to take to the parks yet so I go on girls trips with adults only. I'm forever a Disney adult and proud!!!

Disney adult here, and I love that you did this, Molly. For our honeymoon, my husband and I went to Disney World in 2009. We had breakfast at the Crystal Palace one of the days. I wore my bride Disney ears, and we took photos with the characters. I asked Eeyore if I could hold his tail while we took a photo, and afterward, I teared up. That surprised me, and my husband asked me why I teared up... well, when I was a kid in the 80s, my parents took me to Disney World, but they refused to eat in any of the restaurants (too expensive). I was so jealous of the kids I could see eating in Crystal Palace and meeting characters. So I finally got to do it as an adult, and I didn't realize how much it meant to me until it happened. We had a great time in Disney, just the two of us with no kids. We went into EVERY single shop and browsed... came home with a treasure trove of fabulous Disney merch!

I’m a snarky, sarcastic millennial who usually finds costumed characters pretty cringey and childish. A few months ago, my father and I went to Disney for the 50th anniversary and to finally experience Galaxy’s Edge. Somewhat unexpectedly, we suddenly found ourselves watching the magic kingdom parade, and darnitall if that many characters from my childhood dancing past didn’t manage to melt even my bitter, withered heart! Edit: OK, that Mr. Toad popcorn bucket is adorable. Wind in the Willows is one of my favorite children’s stories.

Idk why the internet hates Disney adults (at least the normal disney adults). Every single disney adult I've met has been a sweet, passionate fan. As an autistic 18 year old who's new to Disney Adulting and who has faced harassment for my special interests and hyperfixations , I can confirm that there are way worse things than being a baseline Disney Adult. And honestly? Molly is one of the best, most respectful and professional Disney Adults I've ever seen. Keep doing what you do, sis ✌️✨

Definitely a Disney adult. I went November of 21 with my daughter for her 22nd birthday. 5 days was magical. Leaving again in 6 days with my other adult daughter (25) for another 5 days in Disney. Having dinner with pooh and friends. Love watching your videos.

I love your videos Molly and I totally agree with you here! :) Honestly seeing this video made me very happy. I’m a young person diagnosed with ADHD and I have a special interest for everything involving Disney parks and other theme parks. Sometimes it hurts knowing that in a year or two very soon a lot of people may consider me “cringey” for something entirely out of my control. But then I remind myself that hating on people for doing something 100% harmless that brings them lots of joy is infinitely more “cringey” than being the person being happy about something. I hope you all can remind yourselves of that too! Keep doing things that make you happy no matter what people say.

Love it! Some people are so miserable. What’s wrong with loving something that makes you happy? I enjoy Disney but I am a full on Harry Potter nerd, and I will run around in my Hogwarts robes next time I go to Universal and could not give two hoots what people think! I regularly wear my Gryffindor quidditch jumper in the “real world” too, I find it’s a good way to meet other Potter fans (who seem to be a universally friendly bunch!). Loud and proud 👍🏻

I don’t get the hate for disney adults. It’s the best. It makes me happy and give me so much joy. My family just don’t get it at all but if me makes me happy it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else

I am a 45-year old man, and I am proud to be a Disney Adult! I take trips to Disney parks alone, happy to take selfies with characters and dine at character dining locations by myself, wear t-shirts any other clothing with characters on them, and I'm not ashamed to admit I cry at ANY magical Disney moment that happens to me. Molly is our own Spirit animal!

I went to Disney solo and it was really great, I spent a lot of time just wandering around and living the moment. Plus there's a line for people who are solo/don't care about being separated from their group for some rides, so you don't have to wait in line as much.

I grew up regularly going to Disneyland it was just a part of the magic of childhood. Fast forward to my mid twenties having probably not gone for a decade, revisited the park with my parents and other adult siblings. I didn't anticipate breaking into weeping tears the moment I saw the iconic castle, but there you go. The tears were of joy and nostalgia flooding my being, and I'm not going to be ashamed of that.

I didn't understand it...until I went back with no kids. Now...there's Disney decor and stuffies, and dolls throughout the house. For people that aren't Molly and her beau, it's all about looking at the those knickknacks (sp) and getting a hit a dopamine and remembering how fun it all was.

Most of the people who think this is weird are majorly into a sports team or something else that becomes a large chunk of their own identity. I can say 100% that living amongst “Roll Tide” Alabama football fanatics who have no actual connections to the university itself (think house, car, and person totally decked out, all conversation comes back to AL football…) is more annoying than people who like to vacation at Disney!

I mean... Universal's Island of Adventure is one of my favorite places in the entire world, and I can tell you that that park is enjoyable for kids and adults alike. It has some very extreme rides, it's a lot of fun. And since Orlando is 10 hours away from where I live, when I go there I visit all Disney's parks too. Some rides are clearly meant for a younger audience, but not all of it. It doesn't have anything to do with "lost childhood" or anything like that, it's just a fun and beautiful place all around, full of references of movies that I really like (Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Avatar and so on). Magic Kingdom's Space and Splash Mountain are great, and so is the Haunted House. Same goes for the Hollywood Tower or the Everest. Amusement parks are there to... amuse. I don't know who the heck came up with the idea that enjoying these is childish. Probably someone that never went to a Disney park to begin with lol
