Luca was such a good movie i wish italians were real

Honestly, i'm a 30yo italian guy.. watched it in eng. And I cried. It reminded me my summer holidays when I was a kid, and those friends i made that i had to leave behind.. To me, Luca is special. Thank you to everyone that worked on it. Really, thank you so much.

Pixar just took a "fish out of water" story to a whole other level

i cannot express how special this movie to me is. it dearly reminds me of my two bestfriends in highschool. one is a soft guy with so much creativity, one is a girl who is brave and smart, and me the alberto lol. so were basically a trio. i was mindblown on how accurately it depicts our story together back in our youth, like how we betrayed each other and did stupid things. good old days

As an Italian, this is extremely accurate, the old towns , the Motorbikes everything is so good this was an awesome film!

I am 19 and I cried like a baby when alberto sold the vespa to afford a ticket for luca and sent him to study abroad. The last scene was very emotional during the farewell moment. Pixar again didn't let me get disappointed. I can't tell how much i love these plots and animations❤❤❤

If there’s one thing this world needs more of in the industries, it’s people who put heart into their work. It’s the reason Pixar has such a great reputation today. This film is definitely giving confident vibes and I love it already

To be honest Luca is one of the best Disney and Pixar movies I've ever seen, the story of two friends who face the world for the first time as outcasts where they meet a marginalized girl and together they go on adventures on the Italian shore, it's certainly a masterpiece made with a lot of love and effort, although it was very rushed, if they had deepened the film more in terms of characters, history, antagonists, etc. It would have already been more perfect than it already is

Da italiano , posso dire che la Pixar é riuscita a cogliere bene il paesaggio italiano , in particolare quello delle 5 terre, Matera , Campania... Anche i vestiti: sono i vestiti comuni dei italiani degli anni 70/80. I personaggi sono belli come la maggior parte dei italiani (Scamarcio, Favino, ecc.ecc.) Solo qualche pecca nella lingua : siamo andati un po' a stereotipi con le mani. L' italiano é una lingua molto complessa, scopratutto per un inglese. Ogni gesto delle mani ha un significato ben preciso (anche se a volte cambia di regione in regione). Noi italiani siamo abituati a usare i gesti perché prima dell'unità d'Italia, ogni regione parlava in dialetto molto stretto. Si dice addirittura dal tempo degli antichi romani si usano le mani, perché i romani non conoscevano le altre lingue e quindi usavano i gesti. Complimenti 👏

How has it been 2 years already. This was the last Pixar film I’ve enjoyed.

This movie is coming up on its 2-year anniversary tomorrow and I will be watching it once again like I do almost every month (sometimes even more). This movie is so special to me, it got me through a tough time but other than that it also motivated me to continue on with my career in art. The story is amazing and so sweet, and the art style is everything to me. I'm also Italian so that was a plus in my book too. Anyway, happy anniversary to my favorite movie of all time!

Almost everyone of us in Italy when we were kids used to spend at least one month in summer at our grandfather's little Towns by the countryside, we used to play soccer in the square, go to the beach with our cousins and spend the day exploring with our bikes. It was the time of our lives. And at least for me Edoardo Bennato was the main soundtrack of the long car trip to go there. Thank you Pixar for making us live that all again! We needed that, considering that for the virus i haven't seen my nonni in a long time

Love it. Watched it a dozen times now. Colorful. Musical. Easy to despise the protagonist. Easy to love the main characters. Disney gold. Maybe there's still hope for Walt's legacy.

Everyone's out here going mental for encanto but i think this was much better it had a good moral and it never went overboard with the songs but that's just my opinion

Disney has had 2 movies recently with all Hispanic casts. They were very proud of that. They did the same thing with Raya which got an all Asian cast. Italians got Jim Gaffigan, Peter Sohn, and the chain smoking mom from Always Sunny saying "Eh! Meat-a-ball-a! Spoo-ghet-ee!" Thanks guys.

The town on wich this film is based is called Vernazza. I spent my summers in this town as a teenager, in the 80's. No foreign tourists, just Italians. I feel very fortunate to have these experiences, I love this town.

This is a Pixar masterpiece!!! I love this movie!! It’s so cute and so nice!! Makes me forget about the complications of life and what’s currently going on in the world. This is an instant classic!!

Fun Fact: The first song is about the Cat and the fox of Pinocchio’s tale, trying to convince the wooden boy that they’re not trying to trick him “Lui è il gatto, ed io la volpe siamo in società (He’s the cat, Im the fox, we’re a team) Di noi ti puoi fidar (You can trust us)”

The details of this movie are absolutely perfect. The men playing scopa, the old ladies sitting outside the house gossiping. THE ACCURACY OF IT ALL
