So cute! I got accepted to DCP on Valentine's Day and will be starting on September 12th! Looking forward for this experience this fall and hoping I will get the same room style like you have this fall! Looks so big!!

Wow! It's amazing how much better Flamingo Crossing looks than the previous DCP housing! I purposefully did not live in DCP housing on my program in 2019 for many reasons, including the housing option not looking ideal to me. But if I had to do the DCP over again, I might just live in the housing! Did I spy a rehearsal studio in the community center? Is there just that one or are there multiple? Also, your room looks super cute and homey! Good job! Enjoy these next couple months! They will go by so fast!

There is a bar area so you could probably rehearse something if no one else is in there! I’m so happy, it feels like a resort!

How did you hang your shelves and pictures? I’m moving in next week to a 4x4 too! I have a lot of frames I want to hang and i’m not sure if i should use command strips or not

Okay so I really struggled at first with the walls cause it’s a textured wall and the command strips barely hang, it may be better to use finishing nails… not sure if it’s allowed but I did it hehe …

I'm planning to do the DCP this fall but I am struggling find info about if you have to be vaccinated to do it. Do you have to be vaccinated?

Yeah you do! As of rn I don't think they require you have the booster, though :)

Currently you do have to be vaccinated unless you get an exemption which is super rare!
