The downside is an upside, game shouldn't have microtransactions to begin with

As a Disney child growing up I’ve always wanted this game but after playing on my PlayStation I stopped because I don’t like micro transactions so this seems perfect

I already have Apple Arcade for my son and I’m so excited for this!! I will definitely be playing it on my phone! 😁

In my opinion, Apple should add an in-game Mac Store or a special area of Scrooge's Shop where DDV Arcade users could have the option to get Premium Shop items with the regular Gold Coins.

Am wondering how it will perform on apple devices. Giving the month of a free trial a go. The controls are the toggle to move which can be annoying, Reddit also has threads with people feeling they need a real controller for it. Only bummer about not having the shop though is if some people are only able to play that version like if they don’t have pc, or other systems. They won’t be able to have the dream bundles like turning Ursula into Vanessa to make it easier to reach her. Also noticed some small glitches. Some of the villagers are in the biomes I haven’t unlocked yet, Minnie’s icon shows up on the map when she’s still in here and there and after I freed Ursula she was missing. Icon was no where to be found on map. And side note I would recommend waiting till switch gets a hot fix update cause for some reason, trying to run through the tunnel from ancients landing to get to courtyard causes a lot of crashing. In the beginning it was crashing ten, twenty times I lost count but just kept trying and manual saving (also made sure wells are open to avoid the tunnel) and it finally got it out of its system.

If there’s a way to still obtain premium shop items without obviously an additional purchase I’ll consider this fulfilled

The game does have cloud save. Maybe not cross saves but it has cloud

Thank you for this! I just started playing on Apple Arcade a few days ago, but wanted to see if I should just buy it for my Switch before I get too far into the game. The only downside it seems like is the lack of Star Paths, which sound cool, but it seems like Arcade version will still get the same map updates and everything, I think? I’m fully hooked so I sure hope so 😄❤️

Having it on Apple TV is awesom for kids i even play it too with my kids on the Apple TV also save are synced across apple devices.

I would like to add one thing if you are looking to get Disney Dreamlight Valley through through Apple Arcade and you have not yet gotten Apple Arcade please use the free trial just to make sure it works on your device because there are tons of reviews out now and underneath the gamieTalking about how it’s not working for even some of the newer iPads and phones even though in the compatibility section of the game it says it does so just be safe and get the free trial. Make sure it works on your tablet so you don’t lose any money I have a , Apple iPad generation 3 and when I opened the game it told me that my iPad doesn’t support the game even though in the compound section and game requirements my iPad is one that’s listed as it can play it. I just wanted to let everyone know if you don’t already know this already .

A question if I buy the expansion will I be able to have several saves where in these saves will the expansion be or will it be just the first save you enter after the purchase of the expansion?

Heads up, Apple Arcade is free for 3 months for Target members. Also, this game requires a pretty new iPad, my daughter’s fifth gen wasn’t enough so she’s taken over my iPad Pro…….

There is cross play but it’s using the apple game centre, so only through your Apple account and Apple devices can you save progress and cross play

Anyone knows if there is an actual way to change the player's name in the arcade edition ? Like do we gotta wait a specific moment in the game ? If i remember correctly you could edit youe name during the character customization in the ps4/5 edition but it didn't happen when i downloaded the arcade version🤔

It’s doesn’t work on the iPad 9th gen but it says it’s compatible in the App Store I was really upset because I wanted my daughter to enjoy this game

Don't have any apple products so no Apple Arcade this version would sound pointless to me anyway since I already own it and no Star Paths? That sounds awful the Star Paths are so fun to do and the stuff you get from then is amazing I couldn't imagine losing that.

Not only this it’s a good way to play the game on the go you could play it anywheres as long as you have Apple It’s a Win all around except if your a android user

Unfortunately, it doesn't work on 9th Gen Ipads. Possibly due to 3 GB RAM limitations; which is massively disappointing. It was the first game my daughter chose on Apple Arcade.

At first I was kinda flabbergasted as to why this was being made at all for Arcade, but your point about it being great for kids makes sense. A great way for everyone in the family to enjoy the game and like you said, not having to worry about your kid spending your entire wallet on moonstones😂 This is a smart decision, shame they miss out on starpath stuff, hopefully they find a way around that like maybe Scrooge sells those items too which would ofc be an Apple Arcade exclusive thing. That way you’ve got the ‘full’ experience I guess, idk tho
