What are some of the rides that have multiple possibilities or endless possibilities? The great movie ride. You could’ve changed many times you wanted swap in and swap out movies. Just like star tours, you can add so many storylines so many different planets. They’ll be good for a discussion like this.

I agree with you Chloe! Disney did a great disservice to MGM/Hollywood Studios. The east coast didn’t have a working lot or animators and when all that was put into place, it gave the east coast a little taste of what the west coast was all about. To get rid of everything they did, breaks my heart. While I understand things do need to change, I feel like the only left of what the original park was meant to be is Indiana Jones. Loved this vlog and completely agree with everything mentioned.

I have an issue with roller coasters that I don't have with motion simulators, probably b/c my first time on a roller coaster was traumatic. (Long story. ) I wimped out of Thunder Mountain and , looking at the videos, wish I hadn't; I will probably force myself if I go again.

They don't take your photo at the end of the ride. The photo is taken at the beginning of the ride in the gallery where the flashing paintings are.

I remember going on the Haunted Mansion our first trips to Walt Disney World - I believe that 1980 was the first time - perhaps it was 1981 -- The current version of the haunted mansion is not the one that I remember from those trips - The whole story of the bride and the husbands was not the built in part of the story - you were in the house traveling around There were the section of spiderwebs and endless stairs to no where - the first changes and there was not shared about it being a bit issue with the bride - she was at the beginning of the attic area and not even sure we were aware that it was the attic - she stood there with a candle I think near a wedding cake covered in webs --- I can remember my son joking about it being Mrs Haversham from Great Expectations. - So the version people that are fighting to keep the original story intact I do not believe was the original. I go with the fact you are seeing ghostly portraits, and invisible ones with candles and playing music others trying to get out before the crystal ball - so the Hatbox just is another resident - he is just not a party animal and doesn't care to hang out in the cemetery - I mean his introduction to me makes me wonder and worry about the haunt that got booted out to keep the number to 999 once he moved in. lol ----- Dinosaur yes it was part of the parks original plan and money really watered down all that was promised and I don't think that Pandora really fulfills the fantasy animals part --- The whole concept has changed from the drawing board - and I remember when it first opened and you had the boat ride to tease of the different things then later when they just used it for a quiet ride and allowed you to see live critters of the spider and lizard types. I don't understand why one of the original plans - animals of the past is being removed - yes I know money and bringing in new younger crowds --- the other two rides were just amusement park rides nothing to pay the price to see but filled in space - the boneyard and play area - helped to give parents a break. I was big in to dinosaurs, my son was in to dinosaurs, his son was in to dinosaurs - dinosaurs will always be in style - I know the Indie Ride looks cool but to give up dinosaur area to get it not that curious. Yes I am sure the new attractions will be fun but I will hate to see the area and the concept that it was designed as even the budgeted version go. I am a Disney fan and will not die on a hill for changes because it is all about creation and imagination and fantasy. I know there is a group of Splash Mountain Fans who are planning to wear their shirts and have signs or things for the photo spot to denounce Tinia's ride. They have even said I am going to ride it one time so I can see how much I will hate it - seriously - if you are that determined to be against something just don't do it - lol --- It is like people who claimed to be the biggest Elvis fans, live Elvis only listen to his music but if his ex wife is buried at Graceland they will never go visit his home again - huh - so bigger hater of her than lover of him lol ------ I also hated to see Great Movie Ride go - it was a great ride and also was the perfect attraction for the original plan - again things got watered down and have changed and now it is no longer about the making of movies but more the part of being in them. So the world turns and the disney world changes ---- But there are other rides and things about the parks that were there originally that are not the same now. Majority of the current fans have no idea. Those of us who saw them or did them miss them now. OK I doubt many people miss the Bra Store at Disneyland but after a long day - it might be nice to stop in and get a more comfortable model lol

I completely agree with dinosaur and gmr! They are/were my favorite attractions and its sad that now they own fox and couldve redone the ride so well! I mean they really couldve kept at least half the ride, and added movies from fox and take the opportunity to use more disney IP. So sad

I think Dinosaurland should become World of Discovery and they can add different elements you’d find on the Discovery network (even though that’s owned by Warner Bros). Like a planetarium and a place to dig for rocks and fossils….more hands on immersion instead of carnival style. A touch of Epcot if you will!! The dinosaur ride would still fit. Also, it would help with more ways to wear kids out that you, Hannah, and Craig talked about on today’s Tuesday show🤣🤗

Is it because of Jurassic movies that they aren’t keeping Dinosaur ride? I do like that ride & would be happy to see it stay & just replace the rest (except I like the Boneyard). Does everything need to be a land now? Maybe that could be Beast land- & include Dragons too

Omg Ryno I say the SAME exact thing about Mickey & Minnie’s at HS!! I will tell anyone whose listening, why does it feel like I’m in a warehouse?!! I hate it! It makes it feel so empty and echoey and not done well.

I get many people loved The Great Movie Ride, but it can't be as well loved and can't have made as many connections with guests as The Haunted Mansion or Pirates or probably even Jungle Cruise, Tower of Terror, Space Mountain or Peter Pan. GRM was clever and yes the cast member roles were cool. But I don't think it was an icon like many other WDW attractions are. It's tough to lose a favorite but I personally think M&M Runaway Railroad is an improvement and I wouldn't be surprised if the number of guests riding per day, and the average wait time have both gone up since the change indicating higher overall popularity. My personal opinion only. And I get you miss an old favorite, so I won't expect to win you over.

I can't agree with "The Great Movie Ride." I'm sorry. It ("Gangs of New York") was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. I was 10 years old and fully believed it was real. That being said, I can see how it was the heart, the whole park was about movies, and how needlessly gutting that building hurt.

In order to even make Great movie ride relevant for now they would have had to have completely gutted and redone. I loved the great movie ride and wish they could have done it over and made it better but some times some stuff needs to change and go.

The new Haunted Mansion was much better than Eddie Murphys.

The Great Movie Ride should’ve stayed. It could have been gutted and all new movie scenes to keep them current.

You lost me when you said Photo Pass picture happens at the end of the ride and not where it actually happens.

My hill: they ruined the auction scene of Pirates of the Caribbean. They degraded that ride with their massive overhaul of the auction scene. It seems rushed and nonsensical. If they are going to change it then it needs to be as good or better…whoever came up with those characters spouting that awful dialogue should be demoted. I would be embarrassed if I suggested making those changes to that iconic ride. I like the original scene but I’m not opposed to all changes when it comes to Disney rides. It just has to be as good or better. This new scene is trash My other hill: the great movie ride should never have been removed. I totally agree that it was unique and iconic. I love Mickey but I hate this new animation style. This incarnation of Mickey as well as the other characters looks like a poor man’s Ren and Stimpy I love Ryno’s ideas for the Disney movie ride. I could totally get on board with a ride like that. I love the older and/or obscure movies so that would be a Disney dream come true. Great Movie Ride 2.0!
