Tubi is free...and it's basically cable tv. Edit: Hold up...Disney is taking the money and then paying out WB? I'm betting you that Disney will keep on harping how the streaming service is a massive hit because it's generating a TON of revenue. Of course they'll fail to mention that they had to pay WB.

To be fair years ago their was a bundle service that bundles a ton of animation steamer togaht for one low price... they failed.

Between this and the reports of Peacock and Paramount Plus hinting at a bundle themselves, we're seeing the landscape getting smaller and smaller. It's ALMOST like trying to compete with Netflix was a stupid idea in the first place, and had all the major companies just spun off Hulu into it's own separate company and just offered their top content to license, they would be in a better spot than they are now.

I mostly agree, I think for Disney to go in to the platform business was a huge mistake. The people who should have been setting up competing services were Comcast and Charter. They stand the most to lose with the expansion of streaming unless they have skin in the game. It never made sense for all the individual channels to pour money down that wishing well instead of accepting checks from Netflix or Charter Streaming.

@@ItsTrinton I still dont think we're as close to the studio/cable exodus as alot of pro-streaming people think. As we're seeing, these companies still make big money off cable rights fees, moreso than they are making off subscriptions to their services. I do agree that FAST channels are going to replace cable EVENTUALLY, but until then these studios were better off sharing the pot with Hulu and not hoarding their content from people because they couldnt help but make ALL the monies.

If this is gonna be like how I had to subscribe to Hulu in order to see it on Disney, then no thank you. I’ll stick with Disney and Hulu as it is. Plus, I wouldn’t know if it would be worth to get Max

Adding Dr Who will really help Disney streaming the two new subscribers will be a reduction of 80 dollars in this quarters losses.

Haha 😂….. I remember five (5) years ago or so, at the start of the “streaming wars”, telling people that streaming would eventually become cable “on demand”. It was so obvious that this is where it was going. How could all these companies seemingly quadruple their production budgets to make more, higher quality content for their streaming services be sustainable? Not to mention the overhead of maintaining these new platforms….. The move back to a cable model was inevitable… Sorry gents, society peaked in the 90s

Get ready for the the cable packages with every streaming service for about 50-60$ in a bundle at your local cable streaming is t sustainable and it's dangerous to theaters going every thing will revert back to a cable version of streaming and dvds

Not interest. I already having to deal with one evil streaming company that beyond our control because they monopolizes the anime, than buying this bundle craps that are as evil, if not worst.
