I actually cried seeing you go over that finish line. Amazingly inspirational and to do it in Disney what an experience you must of had. I did the great south run here in the UK last October and struggled, so I have a lot of respect for you to double that and then some 👏👏👏

Thank you! I still get emotional thinking about crossing that finish line. I've had plenty of races where I struggled, but it's these happy ones that keep me going. Keep at it!

Thanks for the video! I just got registered for the Dopey Challenge 2024! Registering was pretty stressful and I really thought that I probably wouldn't get it. I can't wait for a fun few days running around WDW!

Registration day is always so stressful! I am so happy you got the race you wanted. Now do your training and you'll have a blast running around WDW. I'll see you out there for the half and full this year!

What a rad little video. My wife has done 3 Dopey’s and we love all things RunDisney. I agree, you guys have some great videos. Congrats on this accomplishment.

I was telling my wife how good of a pace you were doing and how it was pretty close to my time. Then when you stopped at mile 26 I was standing next to the mile marker in the shot! White T-shirt and blue headband Congratulations on a great run.

Sold out before I could get a chance to. I was supposed to do the half but it sold out so I said “what’s an extra 13 miles”. 😂. First marathon i ever did. Only done half prior.

For the time that’s right over every mile sign. Is that synced only with the first coral? I ask because I doubt it took you 24min to pass the first mile

You’re correct! It’s the clock for the first wave of runners. At smaller races it’s pretty accurate, but Disney races take a while for everyone to get across the start line. If you’ve ever seen race results it will usually have a clock time and an individual time.

It wasn't cheap! The race entry fee was somewhere around $600. Once you factor in flights, hotel, food, costumes.... it got expensive really quick! However, there are no races like Disney races. They just do them right.

There were 1-2 banana stops and chocolate in Hollywood.

that is so weird.... i go to alot of races and the aid station food is soooooo elaborate... thankfully in 2020 i had brought two clementines in my hydration vest... 2025 ill bring alot more ... i guess i assumed (dont do this) that we would be sustained... lol@@homeiswheretheysendus
