I actually played on this server for about 30 days. I didn’t even realize there were mature servers until day 20. They are not labeled until you click on them. you gotta memorize which ones are mature servers. I think the most disturbing part of my experience was all of the children/tweens openly sharing their social media accounts and personal information. Yes children are stupid and will do this, but the fact this info was not censored was disgusting.

Back when I was younger and played club penguin all the time , I thought it was one of the most fun games you could just sit down and chill and play it. Now , I wanted to revisit it and immediately learned of the removal of the original version. I searched up club penguin and found many private servers. But I got caught up with some family stuff before I could play. Some days later I find this video and thank god i did. I was planning to sign up and play on Club Penguin online. Now I’ll definitely use rewritten , even if it’s out of date. Thanks mutahar! You saved me from this trap.

My cpo user name was SkullSkill. I was one of the first accounts ever made. I was there during the "golden age" of the server. It was actually very peaceful. At the time it was my favorite private server. But after like 2 years things went down hill. The owner "Anthony " held an event via voice chat over discord. He was insanely tipsy and he said stuff that had no place in a mostly kid community. One of my best friends, i will hide her name, asked politely for Anthony to stop. He got extremely upset and banned me, and every other staff besides a couple of girls and his friends. He has since removed his discord so i have no way of contacting him. I know no one will see this but I just wanted to say more of the story.

It still kind of angers me that Disney is okay with a site that could potentially be used for predatory reasons, yet they still can't allow people to put their trademarked characters on graves or nursery homes. Absolutely upsetting that they'd be such a corporate company.

This is why working on an online community can be potentially dangerous. I was a moderator on a game server and a lot of this stuff happened within the community. There are A LOT of allegations of child “stuff” and corruption. This is the problem when people at a younger age get a lot of power. They aren’t usually in a position of power. Once they get that so suddenly without having much other responsibility, it’s absolutely dangerous to their morality. This leads to things like blackmail and manipulation. I had a friend get SWATted. I’ve had friends doxed. I, myself, have been manipulated into serious situations. It. Is. Dangerous.

I'm so furious that this is how CPO has been operating. I don't want to release too much identifying info, but someone VERY near and dear to me joined the CPO discord a few weeks ago. They seemed to have been having fun. Then a few days later, they were frantically texting me and asking how to delete their discord account. I had suspicions that it was due to the staff engaging in illegal activities like this, and now that's it's confirmed, I am absolutely livid.

I was heavily involved in this community for a few months and it's the reason i started using vpns, more complicated passwords and separate email addresses for everything. I was so afraid of the community for a long time after some friends and I spoke of against the behaviour, as the mods involved have a history of doxxing, pizza bombing, swatting, blackmailing, and hacking. I'm so glad you're drawing attention to this. Riley is such a vile person and shouldn't be allowed get away with this.
