I just did my first half marathon yesterday and thought I was doing bad when I died after 7 miles....thank you for stating that miles 7-10 are the hardest because they really were for me. I hope I'd be able to do a Disney run someday!!!

You’ll do amazing! It was honestly so much fun. Of course it was hard and I should have trained better - but so worth it for the experience!

Well done, your determination is laudable. Watching the steps build up on your phone/Garmin is so very satisfying. On several occasions I have passed 100000(sic) steps on very long runs+ all the 'normal' walking of the day. I suspect I run only to be guilt free about the large number of Snickers bars I eat after a run....well, at any time really. Are you going to try some more runs? Perhaps some 10ks, after your half this will seem like a gentle stroll!

100,000 that's a lot of steps!!! Long runs make me feel better about my sweet tooth too 😉. I actually am going to sign up for more runs! I am thinking about doing a 10K in LA soon with my roommate if I can get her to commit to it! Other than that I'm almost positive I'll be going back to Orlando to do the Princess Half again next year!

I just volunteered at a local half/full marathon, and went home and signed up for the princess half 2020! I used to work at WDW and this is a dream of mine and I can’t wait!! VERY nervous, but watching this is making me excited to go for my run tomorrow morning haha! I can’t wait to run down Main Street!

I will be doing this run in about 6 weeks and my biggest fear is that ill be picked up by the sweepers. Even though my quarter marathon time is below a 16 min pace. I still have huge doubts, How strict are they on that rule?

I just signed up for the Princess Half Marathon! Thanks for sharing your experience! Where did you guys stay when you were down there? And where was check in for the race? Did you have to check in the day before or could you check in sooner?

Wenz the Adventure yay! I’m not sure honestly I don’t remember all of those details but they should come to you from Disney before the race!

You go to espn to get your waiver and packet, I would do the day before. We usually stay at a resort at wdw so they pick you up in a bus to take you to Epcot for the race.
