You’re so nice to your mom lol My mom hates roller coasters & we convinced her to ride Everest. At the part with the broken track, my sis was like “Is this a bad time to tell you it goes backwards?” Her scream can still be heard around the park today hahaha

I was scared when I rode that for the first time, but it quickly became one of my favorite things to do at Animal Kingdom! I loved how Nate was there with you every step of the way. Let me tell you about my experience on expedition Everest. I had no idea that the ride went backwards so instead of riding like a normal person, I decided to turn my head, I think that singular motion of trying to ride it the “correct” way did something to my brain. I don’t even remember the second part of the ride. I crawled off the roller coaster and the staff had to help me into a wheelchair. I’ve never thrown up that much in my life right there on the platform as riders were continuously exiting the coaster. I was then transferred to the gift shop where I had numerous staff members giving me water and trying to keep me cool. from there I was taken to the medic station for another three hours. That was the first day I had ever been to Disney World.
