Disney's BoardWalk Villas is a Deluxe Resort in the EPCOT Resort Area of Walt Disney World. Modeled after a turn-of-the-century lakeside resort, the BoardWalk Villas shares many amenities with its sister resort, the BoardWalk Inn. The highlight of the BoardWalk Villas was the Coney-Island style BoardWalk. The BoardWalk is filled with not only shops and restaurants but also carnival games and street performers. There was a real energy on the BoardWalk that we haven't experienced at other Disney Resorts! The BoardWalk Villas is within walking distance of Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts and Walt Disney World's Swan and Dolphin Resorts.
Tips and Tricks:
• Disney's BoardWalk Villas is a Disney Vacation Club resort. We are not members, but were able to stay (and at a fraction of the cost) by renting DVC points through DVC Rental Store (#notsponsored)
• You can get a great view of the EPCOT fireworks from the BoardWalk. The best spot we found was just outside of Jellyrolls and the Atlantic Dance Hall.
Parking and Transportation to Parks:
The BoardWalk Villas offers complimentary self-parking onsite. The BoardWalk Villas also offers valet parking for an additional fee. The BoardWalk Villas is within walking distance to EPCOT (via the International Gateway entrance located within the World Showcase), Hollywood Studios, and the Disney Skyliner. There is watercraft service available to both parks, as well as other nearby Resorts, from the BoardWalk Villas. There is complimentary bus service available to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. Note: bus service is sometimes shared between the Yacht Club, Beach Club, and BoardWalk Resorts.
Room Information:
Room 2113 is a Standard View room located on the second floor. Though a little dated, the room is very spacious and can sleep up to five with one queen bed, a double-size sofa bed, and one pull-down bunk size bed. It is a connecting room which can allow for additional space if needed. The room has a kitchenette (with mini fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot) and a balcony which overlooks the porte cochère. Room 2113 is on the same floor as the lobby and one level above the BoardWalk.
