While it may seem somewhat basic, this has actually been one of the nicer NYC hotels we’ve stayed at and was perfect for what we needed. I hope you are able to find a place you enjoy!

Oh no - I totally understand the confusion! This stateroom is referred to as a Captain’s Suite. Unfortunately, we do not have access to the room the Captain of the ship actually bunks in!

Were booked for the room next door. Was there any noise from above or below?

This was actually my parents’ stateroom. However, I checked with my mom and she advised that they couldn’t hear anything from within the room. From the balcony you can definitely hear pool noise as well as noise from the Bolt coaster which is located on a higher deck.

We liked walking around Centennial Olympic Park and you can’t go wrong with visiting the Georgia Aquarium or the World of Coca-Cola! We also really enjoyed the Atlanta Botanical Garden on this trip - so beautiful! Have a great trip! 😊

We had this suite on the Sunrise last year. We loved the space and amazing views. Highly recommend!!

We agree! The extra space on the balcony was one of our favorites - we loved being able to play board games out there together.

Did you find your building to be super far of a walk from everything? We are booked in a fifth sleeper woods view, no room number listed yet, and I’m worried about my mom having issues with how far it might be from everything.

Hi Kaitlyn - we never had an issue with the walk (and even enjoyed being in nature), BUT if you have someone with mobility concerns, I could see it being an issue. You might be able to request a somewhat closer building (buildings 38 and 39 were even a little closer) when you check in, though I didn’t even see Preferred Rooms as an option when you have the 5th sleeper. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Great video! Great angles of the room! Love the shots after cruising away. I would recommend talking a bit about the cabin. Likes! 👍 I just watched a video of the same cabin where I cringed cuz the guys voice was annoying, and he moved to fast through the cabin. Horrible video, but I watched because I just wanted to see the captains suite room. Your video came right after that. Glad it did! I enjoyed it. I subscribed! We cruise once or twice a year. I hope to see more from your channel!

great video thank you for sharing. I'm booked for deck 12 same room did your balcony come with the 2 chairs and the lounger or did you have to ask for the lounger. it looks like mine only comes with 2 chairs

Where is the parking lot?

We utilized valet parking, which offers free in/out privileges. There are two garages, the North Garage and the South Garage. The North Garage was much less crowded so we preferred using it. Self parking is available, but there is more of a walk. The lot for self parking is located South of the hotel and across the street (behind Hog Heaven BBQ). When we went, valet was $40/night while self parking was $30/night. We paid more for the convenience.
