Hi Everyone:
Today we explore the Grand Californian Hotel at the Disneyland Resort in California. It is a beautiful hotel and it has lots to offer. It is a AAA Four Diamond Award Winning hotel and it shows. There is a terrific bar pool, the Craftsman Bar, a fantastic buffet with amazing character interaction, an upscale luxury dining restaurant called Napa Rose, and lots more. So come along and let's take a look at everything this majestic hotel has to offer.

I have too stayed here and loved every minute in The Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. I just had to watch this video today, this moment. I can’t wait until life gets back to what we all know and love. How I miss you terribly Grand Californian. ❤️🥰😢🤗

Ahh, we are kindred spirits! I'll just shout out randomly on occasion "I miss Disneyland"! What I wouldn't give to be sitting in the lobby of the Grand Californian listing to the piano playing Disney tunes and sipping a cold drink. Darn Corona virus!!

The Mouse Scout ....My first aid kit that I have has a supply of H2O Sea Salt toiletries, A Grand Californian Hotel robe, a green hotel logo shirt that I was able to grab from Poshmark (Omg couldn’t believe it!) A Grand Californian Hotel pillow and the bear from Grizzly River Run from Acorns Gift Shop. I have your videos to keep my heart happy until the “Magic” returns. 🥰 Take Care, Be Safe 🤗

I stayed at the Grand Californian last year and I would recommend it to everybody. It is absolutely amazing. It is so convenient as you get to walk into down town Disney and grand Californian. This saves time getting in and out of the parks extremely fast, and the most amazing part, is that hotel guests get access to the park 1hr before other guests. The scenery is absolutely is amazing, the lobby is breathtaking and extremely large with a beautiful chandelier and a fireplace. Not to mention the beautiful piano playing all classical Disney music almost 24/7! The food is amazing, and you walk outside right into the Story Tellers Cafe which is amazing because of the buffet food, and the meeting the characters experience, very fun for children, and any age. I loved the souvenir store as it has cute items and may save time from going to crowded stores located in the parks. The pool area is beautiful and has something for everybody, and a fun slide for children, while parents can watch with beautiful sights and pools. I loved every moment of it and I will be coming back soon!

I love your videos, glad I found you! I'm from Oregon, 1962 (I was 2☺) we spent a day at Disneyland. 1974 we moved to Germany, I have Disneyland Paris, started taking my kids there in 1995 - 2006, every year! ❤🥰 Memories 🥰❤ I'm addicted to Disney videos, thanks for keeping me close, even though I'm far away. 😊

I absolutely love the Grand Californian Hotel. I’ve always felt incredibly safe here and it’s very comfortable to lounge by the fire. I just can’t see myself paying ~$750/night to stay here. That is absolutely outrageous. Awesome video and great editing.

Enjoy!! It's really my favorite of the three. It's lush and very, very convenient in that it's close to the parks, has great restaurants and amenities and is beautiful to boot!

Pleasant voice. Extremely informative (just as my wife looked at the Princess event at Napa Lounge and asked "what does that cost?" You gave the pricing as though you were listening). Fun Fact: It is almost identical to the Wilderness Lodge in Orlando. Stayed at both, most recently had a 3 bed suite at the GC.

Yes, they are very close in theme. I bet the suite was super nice!! We just stayed at a 2 bedroom DVC villa at GC. I'm working on that video. It was sooooo nice. Our view was overlooking the pool and we absolutely loved it. I've only stayed at Wilderness Lodge once, and it was lovely just opening the sliding glass door and feeling like you were in the woods. We loved that too. We're waitlisted to stay at Copper Creek Villas on our next trip to WDW. Fingers crossed! Thanks for commenting!

My wife and I also highly recommend in Florida: 1) The Boardwalk Villas, 2) Grand Floridian Villas, 3) Polynesian Suites, 4) Fort Wildnerness RV Campsites and Cabins. At Universal, the Portofino, Hard Rock and Royal Pacific are great as well though doesn’t really fit the mouse theme. Cheers!

How long does it take to get to and from the Disneyland park? Do you walk or take transportation?

Grand Californian Hotel is steps away from the entrance to Disneyland Park. About 3-5 minute walk, it's that close. There is no transportation. The Disneyland Resort is like a campus where everything is within walking distance. You just gave me an idea for a video! Thank you!

Would you know the prices of rooms? High and low season?

I don't know if there is a low season anymore, but if there is, it would be around January/February and again in September when school is back in session. The rooms are pricey ($400+), but the rates vary. It's best to watch the Disneyland website for discounts.

We only stay on property for special occasions, so it's rare. But anyone can explore the hotel, even if you're not staying there. It's a great place to relax and take a break from the parks.

I know how you feel. There are folks out there that dropping 10K on a vacation is no big deal to them. I grew up going camping for free with my parents.

"The Mouse Scout" needs an English grammar lesson. The Grand Californian is a spectacular hotel and I can think of several descriptive words, but none of them fit OED definition of "majestic." Oh, sorry, I forgot this is KZfaq, the Internet home of illiteracy.

@@TheMouseScout Pay no attention to mean-spirited comments. It's one thing to say you disagree with a review, but another to be mean about it. I happen to agree that this hotel captures Disney magic and therefore, qualifies as majestic! We have been staying since my kids were in a stroller in 2001. They are now 20 and we hope to go back when every is back to normal. The only negative is how prices have changed. It was about $200-300 back then. But it keeps getting better so hard to argue with success and high demand.
