I've been there for 5 days last year, such a nice hotel. The room smelled a little dusty, but you can open the window for fresh air. We've been two persons. Every breakfast we were seated in a little room next to the big breakfast hall, were all the families were eating. Was nice to have a little more quiet situation in the morning :) The walking distance is okay, around 20 Minutes.

Top tip for chuck wagon from a lovely American I met there...cut a jacket potato open while you are in the food section, add nacho cheese sauce and crispy onions. Best jacket potato I've ever eaten 😂 I dream of this every time I see chuck wagon vids

Robert Stern is one of my favorite architects, and it’s incredible how this hotel looks like a fantastic city with plazas! It’s more lively then some neighborhoods

As you know I love Cheyenne so I’m really happy with this video… Love they do UK sockets and the USB… Nice they do a kettle in the room now too. We always take our own travel kettle and a mountain of biscuits n snacks…. Cheyenne is the best hotel as it separate blocks with great theming…… I love how all the guys turn into cowboys and play shoot there family members from the boardwalks…. Hope your over your trauma of the ponies now Sam…..😂😂 Love love love Cheyenne..and buffet…especially the breakfast one.👍🇬🇧 And right at the end..there it was..” Lord have mercy”

Hi Sam, i just got back late Thursday night from a 3 night trip to DLP. I stayed with my partner and 2.5 year old son and we also stayed in Running Bear in Cheyenne and loved it. The walk to the park was beautiful and we also loved the food at Chuck Wagon (both breakfast and dinner). I watched your videos for months beforehand and it really helped me get my bearings. Your tips were so helpful, thank you ☺️. For others reading and wondering about Cheyenne, especially if travelling with young children, you can ask for a travel cot in your room if needed and Woody and Jessie do meet and greets in the morning in Reception area (between Chuck Wagon and the General Store).

hi sam, love your videos! my mother and i actually stayed at cheyenne on the 8th to the 10th of this month, in this exact same room. we noticed some faulty things and reported it to the reception, and a lovely cast member gave us a different room for the last day. she mentioned not even having known such a room was still on property. sadly it seems they dint fix anything, as they assigned it to you only 2 days later, which is inexcusable in my opinion! we still enjoyed our trip despite it however, and appreciate the cast members for what they did. hopefully you had a nice trip too, if we'd known we would've come to say hi to you haha!

I really like the room, the theming is very well done and welcoming! I haven't stayed in the Cheyenne since I was 6 or 7 so I don't have a lot of memories. But I hope to go back one day 😊 The buffet seems quite nice! Thanks for the video Sam, they always cheer me up!

We were there in January, they didnt replace the water in our room during our stay but we didnt mind. Absolutely lovely hotel btw if you want "proper" (english) tea youll have to bring your own 😂😂

Thanks for sharing! I changed my dinner plans to this place based on your latest video and the omelette station looks fab! Perhaps not as many vegetarian dishes as in your latest video from this restaurant. I seem to remember a vegan chili but it’s going to be fine. So glad I went full board. I’ve never had corn bread but I remember seeing it in the “wise old hen” as a child. Now I’ll know what Donald Duck missed out on!

The bed is a trundle bed, has a single on top and a pull out bed underneath too so the room sleeps four.

Hi Sam 😉 €200/night only❓ Well, I paid €320/night this month (February 2024) and in September 2024 the price is still €288/night … #what #am #i #missing #please? Sam was just wondering if you've ever had any issues if you've left something behind at a hotel? My parents left something behind when they checked out of Sequoia lodge last week and so far they're insisting they haven't found it.....unfortunately this points to staff at the hotel not being honest since we gave them the room number and exactly where the item was left....really putting us off ever staying there again which is a shame since it was our fav up until now 😢

Thanks so much 🥰 it’s actually pronounced Cheyenne the way I say it in French, and seeing as the hotel is in France, I pronounce it the way it was originally meant to be pronounced in DLP 😁

@@Sam4G0dSorry Sam, gonna have to disagree 😝 Cheyenne is named after the American town and Native American nation which are both only pronounced Shy Ann. There isn’t a French word equivalent, unless people are intentionally or unintentionally butchering it. But it’s not a hill I’m dying on 😂 You call it whatever you like. Main thing is that we all have fun!
