Timon and Pumbaa's Jungle Games is one title I grew up with thanks to the bargain bin at the electronics store. Developed by Tiertex and distributed by THQ rather than Virgin who did the platformer, it's got 4 decent mini games and some nice replayability if you're a kid or someone who enjoys arcade games like I do. There's pinball, a shooting gallery, a Frogger clone, and something that sort of resembles Space Invaders or similar.Apparently there was a 5th mini game on the home computer version of this game but they omitted it on SNES because it was a Puyo Puyo clone and the console already had Kirby's Avalanche or something? That's what Wikipedia says anyways.
What a nice mini game collection. It's cool that Disney decided to put this one on SNES after the PTSD inducing Lion King platformer from this generation. It works as a nice chaser. I have to admit, I kind of skipped over the pinball out of spite in the video due to how rotten my luck at the beginning was but oh well. I also fat fingered "Play Again" during the Frogger mini game so if you happen to notice a hard cut that's why.
