Disney Television Animation was founded 39 years ago, the studio has one year left for it's 40th anniversary and 100th animated series debut ("STUGO" created by Ryan Gillis")
The studio has 65 creators with currently 25 NEW artist, animators and showrunners developing new shows and films. The studio also will introduce new interations of it's beloved legacy properties like "Darkwing Duck" & "TaleSpin" in association with Point Grey Pictures (Amazon Prime Video "Invincible", "The Boys", Nickelodeon Movies "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem", Walt Disney Studios "Figment"), additionaly reboots for "Recess", "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" and a revival of "Phineas And Ferb" are set for the upcoming years.
The studio also has a feature film slate with upcoming films like "Big City Greens: The Movie" (2024), other feature film projects at the studio include the musical animated comedy "The School For Sensitive Souls", an animated adaptation of the "SuperFudge" novel in collaboration with The Russo Brothers production company AGBO, a animated adaptation of the book "Confessions Of An Imaginary Friend" is also being planned.
In 2024, as part of the studio's upcoming 40th anniversary Disney Publishing Worldwide & Disney Editions will launch The Disney Afternoon: The Making of a Television Renaissance, In December 2024, the studio will open it's lastest collaboration with Walt Disney Imagineering "Aqua Mouse: Curse of the Golden Egg" set to open with the upcoming "Disney Treasure" cruise.
Since it's founding on 1984, Disney Television Animation has been the home of experimental animation, Since 2017 the studio has collaborated with Walt Disney Imagineering in providing character designs and animation for various attractions in Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line from the Mickey Mouse universe and The Disney Afternoon.
Beginning in 2018 several productions from studio have gotten live-action adaptations by the Disney Channel Original Movies and Walt Disney Studios sister studios, including a Kim Possible live action film which premiered on Disney Channel in 2019 and Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers as a live-action animation hybrid film on Disney+ in 2022. In October 2023, it was reported that Atomic Monster ("The Conjuring Universe") and Disney Television Studios where developing a Gargoyles live-action series for Disney+

I was thinking the same thing too! Imagine in 40 years anniversary, we all hope they will do a group photo for all the characters animation TV series. Just like all the films/short films characters in the special short film Disney’s “Once upon a Studio (100 years anniversary, special).

Disney Channels/XD/Junior were always there for me. I was honestly expecting them to appear in Once Upon a Studio, and while that was mainly reserved for the movies, I wouldn’t mind another with the characters from these channels of the company.

I wished Disney + would finally released past Disney animated Series like The Gummie Bears, Darkwing Duck, Wuzzles, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, Mighty Ducks,House of Mouse, Kim Possible and American Dragon Jake Long onto Blu- Ray just like they did for Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers.

Disney channel has always been my favorite network, Gravity Falls, Star vs, Owl House, Amphibia, and many classics before i was born, DuckTales, Darkwind duck, American Dragon, and now a new era has begun as new shows such as Primos and others, and Reboots such as Darkwing, Talespin, and Recess, never change Disney Channel❤

Oh, they're doing a reboot for Recess. I remember seeing that show a bit as a kid along with the movie. I was actually thinking of a sequel show where the original six kids there are all grown up and have kids of their own and the sequel would follow them on their school days. Also if that does happen, I hope they bring back the original actors of the original six kids to play them again.

I came for Jungle Cubs, Lion Guard, 101 Dalmatians the Series, The Buzz on Maggie, Sheriff Callie's Wild West, and DuckTales (2017). Becuase of Young Kaa, Kion, Webby, Priscilla Skunk, Maggie Pesky, and Lucky. But if Bambi would've got a TV show, I should've said Faline.

They can make multiple Marvel and Star Wars content, but they can't even bother giving most Disney Television Animation shows DVD sets or just general acknowledgement. Which is strange since, come to think of think, Disney Television Animation and their shows should be a Disney trademark, instead of just being seen as a side studio. They're basically a similar studio to Walt Disney Animation Studios, just with TV shows as opposed to movies. Yet, Disney treats most of these shows as if they never existed the second they're off the air, with the exception of extremely popular shows like Phineas and Ferb or Ducktales.
