Planning a trip to Disney at the moment is a little confusing and stressful with all the changes. So, I've put this video together to help people get an idea how much a trip may cost you, remember I'm only paying for one person, and all the things you need to consider in 2022.
I may have forgotten things but I hope this video helps someone anyway.

Yay! I'm so happy that y'all finally get to travel & use your DVC! Your last Disney Vlogs were suggested for me to watch in 2020 when I was watching lots of Disney World videos due to being bummed about cancelling my trip there. Your videos definitely brought me happiness during that time. I look forward to watching your Vlogs covering your upcoming trips, especially through the lens of being DVC members. (Also I flew Qantus roundtrip from LA to Sydney in 2008 & it is still hands down the best airlines I've ever flown with!)

QFFs have access to the Qantas Cash Card which is a Mastercard. The benefit is that you can earn QFF points on your foreign purchases at the same time.

I'm Canadian and there are quite a few free options in Orlando for testing for flying back home; curative, Disney maingate and Walgreens. I have heard of UK residents using curative as well. I've used maingate in the past.

@@mcali187 Adam Hattan recently did his vlog and they did their tests near Disney Springs with AdventHealth who are now the Disney health providers. You can find the details and book care & stuff with them in the My Disney Experience app. I’m going to WDW in July from Western NSW.

@@mcali187 Adam & Gary C were staying at Yacht Club and Advent sent a car to pick them up & take them back. If you look at his You Tube channel, it was their last day of their trip. Talks about the process & cost.

I’m flying Qantas (splurging for Premium Economy). I’m flying Sydney to LAX, the American Airlines from LAX to Orlando. But for my return flights, I fly Orlando to LAX with United Airlines, and Qantas back to Sydney. If you want to fly Qantas, you can collect Qantas Frequent Flyer Points by joining Woolies Everyday Rewards. If you have enough points, you can try for an upgrade on your Qantas flight.

Ohh Premium Economy, nice! I have a woollies card to collect points, plus get points when buying fuel, every bit helps! 😂 I definitely don't have enough points for upgrade but I could always try. I hope you have an amazing trip!

@@mcali187 Also, remember when you shop online, check if the store has a presence on the Qantas Online Mall. Apple, Ebay, David Jones, Kogan and a lot of others all have a presence, so you go to Qantas Online Mall, log in & then click on the store you want to shop at. You are then redirected there, and the mall tracks your purchases & you get points. In 2016 I bought my iPhone that way and got 6 points per $1 spent. The points will change from time to time. Can be just 1 point/$1 or could be more. I often go to eBay and find what I want on the app, put it into my basket and then go to the Qantas mall to go to ebay and complete the purchase. I recently got info to link my ordinary debit card to Qantas & any purchases made with it directly (not via paypal etc) will give me points. If you are shopping, you might as well get the points.

@@emmakellner9774 This was supposed to be two years ago to celebrate my retirement from work and moving from Sydney to Dubbo, with my birthday thrown in. Now it is just to celebrate my 65th birthday. Stupid Covid! I just realised I put the wrong info for my return trip. I am returning MCO to DFW and picking up the Qantas direct flight back to Sydney from there, not going to LAX. I had originally been going back via LAX, but American Airlines cancelled my flight from MCO and put me on a later one that only gave me less than an hour to transfer in LAX to the Qantas flight. I'm a bit nervous about connections, and I decided that wasn't enough time. What if the MCO-LAX flight was delayed? So I had Qantas change me to MCO-DFW and the Dallas flight back to Sydney instead. Bonus? I now leave MCO later in the day, than I would have going to LAX AND I get into Sydney about 30mins earlier. As I have to drive back to Dubbo... That's good. I will be able to have a nap along the way and still get back in time to unpack before I go pick up the cats from boarding.

Hi Ali, I just wanted to share something with all your viewers, I just booked my first Walt Disney World trip through a UK travel agent and saved over $1500 Australia by booking through them and not through Walt Disney World Direct. Thanks for the tip

Nothing better than planning a holiday - esp. one to WDW. Dreams Unlimited are great aren't they? I've used them for many trips.

It's good to know how much it costs in total. Certainly, it's not cheap but it's been two years without travel and the savings is biggggggg

You need to redo your ESTA if your passport expires within the 2 years of your current ESTA. My passport expires in September next year, so I will need to do my ESTA for this year, and then again when I get my new passport late next year.

Yeah you'd have to, I had to get a new passport last year which felt like I waste in the middle of the pandemic but I didn't want to fully let it expire and have to do all over again 😂
