We all know it's a heap of flying which means sitting on planes and sitting in airports. This was without a doubt the worst travel day I've ever had. Thanks to delays, stressing about connecting flights and missing Moonlight Magic, but we made it.
For those wondering we travelled Virgin Australia from TSV - BNE & BNE - SYD and then Qantas from SYD - LAX and what was meant to be American Airlines due to delays we got moved over to Delta for our LAX - MCO leg. We then checked into All Star Sports for one night and by that point I was tired and very over Thursday 31 March - a day I'm glad to leave in the past.

I'd rather they fix the entertainment system. I don't want to travel with other frustrated travelers that have nothing to entertain them lol. I'm like you! Already started downloading some movies and shows via, Disney..Netflix and stan😂... we're travelling next year. Likes I always say "it's better to have it and not need it then need it but not have it." Appreciate the effort in vlogging your experience. Hilarious and practical ❤❤❤

so glad the vlogs are back :) travel day is the weirdest day, exciting exhausting and stressful all at once. Youre so right, i dont think many of us aussies do shop duty free, though you've inspired me to have a look next time. ive never even done that before!

What a long and frustrating travel day! It’s weird how it can be annoying but exciting at the same time haha. Can’t wait to watch the rest!

it’s the maccas conveyor belt for me haha easily the best part about this vlog imo other than you guys going past the WDW sign lol :))) thankfully it’s all going to be magic from here on and out can’t wait for the next vlog! ps watching that frog just chillin by your door nearly was giving me a panic attack haha idk how you made past it to get inside your room eww

😂😂 look the Maccas converoy belt may have been one of the best parts of our day. I RAN! Thank god Cousin Jess was there because Miki and I would not have been able to open the door. Thanks for watching girl!

@@mcali187 the plane left Australia on time, my connecting flight in LAX was canceled and there was hurricane on it’s way to Florida. Back in 2008 we didn’t have smart phones so you would find out about plane issues when you get to the airport

@@bookreviewswithzoe oh damn that would have been the worst! It was stressful landing and not knowing our connecting flight, it actually changed again so we had no clue what time it was leaving until we went to check in at Delta.

Ohh i remember doing this 14 years ago and staying at this exact Disney hotel to work on Disney cruises...the jet lag was BRUTUAL.

I had DVC points that expired in May, so it was use them or lose them, and I'd rather use them 😂

I didn't even include everything in! But it was a day, put it that way 😂 Oh I was so happy to crash and sleep in the next day.

Where did you stay the night before your LA flight? I'm driving down to Sydney the day before my flight in mid July, and will be staying the night at Rydges opposite the international terminal. I have less than 9 weeks to my flights.

It was my first time going in April but the weather was good! Wasn't too hot and we had one day where it was randomly cold, otherwise it was nice 😊

Not only did you have to watch the same movie at the same time.... But the movies were censored because of the possibility of children being in the cabin. Saturday Night Fever was censored to be shown on Qantas in the 1970s... I have an iPod classic with over 2,000 episodes of podcasts, music and all 7 Harry Potter talking books (Stephen Fry version). But I will take a book or too as well. I have the same connecting flight with AA. I have 3 hrs 40 mins between arriving in LAX and my flight to Orlando. Arriving in Orlando around 6:46pm. I was originally returning via LAX, but I was advised that AA had cancelled my flight, so I was transferred to an AA flight arriving in LAX less than an hour before my flight back to Sydney. Sorry... That is cutting it too fine for my liking. If the flight from Orlando is delayed, I would miss my flight home. So I changed it and now I fly out of Orlando late in the afternoon and go to Dallas to pick up the Sydney flight from there. It's only a 2.5-3hr flight from Orlando, rather than the 5hrs or more to LAX. I am doing the same journey (SYD-LAX-MCO. MCO-DFW-SYD) for my trip in November and December.

It's so crazy to think how different flying is now! Yeah the flight changes are crazy, I already have had two flight changed for my December flights. Smart move for your flights home, I would t be happy with that gap either.

Yeah I never go to the parks straight away, I always take the next day as a shopping/rest day.

You didn't explain what to do in LAX with going through customs and immigration. You have to collect your bags in LAX to go through customs, and then is there a place to drop them off for the connecting flight? You left that bit out... for Aussies, this is need to know information...

It's such a hectic time, plus you can't film in there, so that part I never film. LAX is such a busy and crazy airport too. You clear immigration and then must pick your bags up. If you have a connecting flight you can drop them off in a certain location (follow the signs) otherwise walk to your next airline and check in. Unfortunately flying also sets off my motion sickness, so not only am I busy and stressed going through an airport, I'm normally always feeling sick, so I don't film. By the time I landed in Orlando I was just thankful to be there and over flying I don't want to talk about it. I've probably mentioned the process in all my previous vlogs, I have 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Disney vlogs on this channel too. But yeah I'm sorry for not filming it all, but please understand vlogging is not my priority. I vlog for my memories and don't have the camera out 24/7.

@@mcali187 I knew you can't film in customs and immigration... I was just meaning you hadn't mentioned what people need to do when transiting in LAX. You had mentioned the bags were checked through to Orlando at Sydney, and this could have given the impression you won't see your bags until Orlando. That's what I meant.

Since you’re so concerned about upgrading a Disney hotel, you’re should had come and upgraded it yourself. You’re are so silly. Complain to much about nothing.

Thanks for your feedback 😊 I was more so shocked that Disney upgraded every other All Star hotel but not this one, just seemed a little weird. They are upgrading it now though. Also, you do know if you find my videos annoying you don't have to watch right? Like I appreciate the views and comments but when I don't agree with someone I just don't watch them and don't find the need to comment 🤷♀️
