My daughter was a Disney Princess for Halloween and she reused the bucket as her Trick or treat bucket. Disney themed perfect.

We went on The Wish last February and I asked the cast member if they will refill it at the park if I get the bucket on the ship. He wasn’t sure. When we got to Epcot, I went in line and the cast member said that the cruise is part of our length of stay (land and sea) of our Disney trip. She refilled it for us. My daughter was so happy.

Agree about the fancy buckets, we got a 50th Anniversary one and it was definitely hard to get your hand in and out of Mickey to eat the popcorn, we now keep it w our popcorn machine for home use but we rarely use bc it’s just not convenient to eat out of. definitely think we’re gonna do a standard bucket this time

Hi Nina.. Thanks for all these great tips, we used several of them, but the best one (in my opinion) was the ring wire + the hook, I was able to carry the bucket in my backpack without any issues 👍, even I advised to another woman how to hang the lid at the edge of the hanger 😅... We've just returned from an 8-day trip to WDW, we carried with us our popcorn bucket we bought in Disneyland about 3 years ago and we were able to refill for $2.5 each time.. Any thoughts on getting a standard bucket in MK and then taking it on the Wish the next day? Will they frown on using it on the ship for the movies?

does anyone have tips for making the lid stay on better? (would cover with plastic wrap or parchment paper first before putting the lid on maybe make it tighter/stay on better?) has anyone tried this?

I like the character buckets because they have the lanyard and I can "wear them" vs "carrying them." - do the handles on the standard buckets have the same attachment style as the character buckets? (i.e. could I remove the handle on the standard bucket and attach a lanyard so that it's "wearable?")

I think this "might" work, yes. Never tried. But the handle snaps off.

I love popcorn myself but I can't eat it the whole day that's way to much for me. I have the Pluto Christmas popcorn bucket I got back in 2017 and then I recently got another one last year in 2023 which is the musical spinning Christmas popcorn bucket. I have them for decorations but from time to time when we have movie night I use it and fill it with popcorn that I heat up in the microwave. Both of these buckets I purchased as soon as we leave the park. I rather not be carrying anything during my park day and at the end if the night I have my souvenir.

is it possible when you go up to the kiosk to get a "refill" that you simply pay $2.50 for a "refill" but have them put it in a fresh box?

Omg the lid sucks. Disclaimer make sure you are holding onto the bucket if it has popcorn in it when on tower of terror will end bad if you put it by your feet 🤦♀️

They stop the deal on refills at disneyland 😪 i bought a popcorn bucket 🪣 and went to get a refill and they said i pay full price 😒 why even get the bucket and why is no one talking about this . I think it's horrible. that's one more magical thing taken away from us
