@@alxcross1850 It was tolerable in the first season, but I was bored of it by the second season and incredibly annoyed by the third. It stunted the growth of most of the characters. Still peeved we don't know the backstory of how MG and Kaleb became vamps; or how Jed triggered his curse.

What you forget is that in parts of the public eye, Legacies is a show of its own. Many viewers are alien to the TVDverse. Therefore, it would make zero sense that, although family, a couple recurring characters would come and save the day dismissing the main characters such as the Gemini twins. Like it or not, it is the Squad that's gonna save the day as this is Legacies and not TO 2.0.

The thing that bothers me is that Freya disappeared when she was supposed to be with Hope for her transition. I don't think they ever explained that.

She was supposed to be there to witness Hope become a tribid but instead just left her without saying goodbye. At least be there when she wakes up but nada. Rebekah even gave up so easily. At least the squad are doing something to get Hope's humanity back, the Mikaelsons are once again MIA.

I agree that she needed to be humbled. I just hate that they always fall back on magic. I would have loved to see Aurora outthinking and trapping Hope because she was blinded by arrogance. Don't get me wrong guys I've been enjoying S4 very much I just wish that such high level magic had more conditions to be successfully cast so it felt more earned.

Anyone could have figured something was wrong.. heck I didn't even remember that Papa Tunde's blade was gone and still I realized something bad would come out by using it instead of simply killing her. Actually the whole Hope chasing them thing was clearly a trap, but Hope felt unstoppable and she fell for it. Aurora fooled her, she clearly appealed to her ignorance :) regarding the trident which was too simple: if you think of it, it's not that different from the huntress sword, the one that would one's soul in the phoenix stone; it was quite simple to use, and it was dangerous enough to scare Klaus when Stefan came to New Orleans

@@AoLIzLoko witches out took vampires in past and present ..so what Iam saying she going have to use the powers of witch spells...aka magic the object in the past it has magic that is why hope is in Aurora's body and Aurora in hope 's body ( socks 4 Hope) so Hope and the witches have to use witch powerful spells...example the Mickelsons and others would not been saved if it was not for magic....esther n dahlia used magic to make vampires , Freya used magic to shut up Klaus and protect hope n her family , Bonnie used magic to help herself but used it mostly to save others,Hope used magic as a child and later..she didn't use magic spells against Aurora only her strength..if hope did use a decloaking spell she would of been able to see the real object as it really was the object that changed their body.
